Roles & Responsibilities

This position will encompass both Accounts payable and receivable functions. 

As Accounting Officer, your overall objective will be to work with the finance team with primarily responsible being day to day execution and management of AP and AR portfolio in the department.

The main responsibility will involve the following scope:

-Manage AP and foreign currency payments.

-Manage AR and credit control.

-General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.

-Liaising with operations and other departments to gather financial information and to enter these information into operational and finance system.

-Assist with month end, quarterly end and year end audit requirements.

-Prepare month end journal.

-Prepare cash flow forecasts/analysis on daily/monthly basis.

-Bank reconciliation, including multi-currency reconciliation.

-Ensure company debtor accounts are paid as per trading terms.

-Conduct credit checks on new customers.

-Issue monthly statement.

-Prepare reports on debtors ledger.

Requirements for the role

-Malaysian age below 35.

-Possess minimum LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting.

-2-3 years experience in handling accounting functions, ideally in similar logistics sector industry.

-Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts and foreign currency transactions would be an advantage.

-Prior experience using CargoWise advantageous. 

-Intermediate Excel skills.

-Highly professional work approach and ability to tight deadlines.

-Must be proficient in written and oral English plus conversant in BM and advantageous if also Mandarin.

角色與職責

身為會計主管，您的總體目標是與財務團隊合作，主要負責部門內應付帳款和應收帳款組合的日常執行和管理。

主要職責範圍如下：

-管理應付帳款和外幣支付。

-管理應收帳款和信用控制。

-總帳與資產負債表核對。

-與營運部門和其他部門聯絡，收集財務信息，並將這些資訊輸入營運和財務系統。

-協助完成月末、季末和年末的審計工作。

-編製月末會計分錄。

- 編制每日/每月現金流量預測/分析。

-銀行對賬，包括多幣種對帳。

-確保公司應收帳款以交易條款支付。

-對新客戶進行信用調查。

-每月出具帳單。

-編製應收帳款分類帳報表。

職位要求

-馬來西亞籍，年齡低於35歲。

- 至少持有LCCI會計文憑。

-2-3年會計工作經驗，最好是在類似的物流業。

-有核對總帳帳戶和外幣交易的經驗者優先考慮。

-有使用CargoWise的經驗者優先考慮。

-具備中階Excel技能。

-工作態度高度專業，能夠在緊迫的期限內完成任務。

-必須精通英語書面和口語，會說馬來語者優先考慮，會說普通話者更佳。

The company operates on a 5-day week basis, from 9.30am to 6.30pm, Monday-Friday.

About the job

The position is permanent in nature at senior Executive level. The main purpose of the role is to provide assistance and support to the Finance Manager in assisting in the monthly management accounts for a number of store nation wide. 

However, the overall job responsibilities are as follows:

·Responsible for the preparation of full set of accounts, management reports.

·Manage the general accounting day-to-day transactions and monthly B/S and P&L analysis.

·Conduct analytical reviews of profit & loss accounts and balance sheets, including trend analysis, cost center checks.

About the Candidate

Candidates for this senior accounting role must possess at least a Diploma qualification in Accounting or at best a Bachelor degree in Accountancy. Candidate should have at least three to five years of accounting experience working ideally in retail or F&B industry environment. Prior accounting experience in F&B or catering/hospitality industry will be a huge advantage. Besides Accounting skills, candidates with strong Excel and Mathematics skills are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for accounting candidate to gain experience and establish themselves in an established renowned F&B retail industry. To be considered for the role, candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.

About the job location

Based at Lake Fields in the vicinity of The Mines in Sungai Besi area. Candidates who wish to apply for the positions must ensure that he/she will find it convenient to be based in the location. Attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidates.

Mengenai Calon

Calon untuk jawatan perakaunan kanan ini mesti memiliki sekurang-kurangnya kelayakan Diploma dalam Perakaunan atau setaraf Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam Perakaunan. Calon hendaklah mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya tiga hingga lima tahun pengalaman perakaunan yang bekerja dalam persekitaran industri runcit atau F&B. Pengalaman perakaunan terdahulu dalam industri F&B atau katering/hospitaliti akan menjadi satu kelebihan yang besar. Selain kemahiran Perakaunan, calon yang mempunyai kemahiran Excel dan Matematik yang kukuh adalah penting.

Ini merupakan peluang terbaik untuk calon perakaunan menimba pengalaman dan mengukuhkan diri dalam industri peruncitan F&B yang terkenal. Untuk dipertimbangkan bagi jawatan ini, calon mestilah mahir dalam Bahasa Inggeris lisan dan bertulis serta fasih berbahasa Inggeris dan Bahasa Cina/Mandarin.
