We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and delivery of water-based and special hazards fire protection systems — including clean agent gas suppression, across commercial, industrial, data centre, and process facility projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and engineer fire protection systems: wet/dry riser, sprinkler, hose reel, hydrant, fire pump, and water storage systems.
• Lead design and delivery of special hazards systems — clean agent gaseous suppression (FM-200/HFC-227ea, Novec 1230/FK-5-1-12, inert gas/IG-541/IG-55), CO₂ systems, water mist, and aerosol/condensed aerosol suppression.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, enclosure integrity assessment, and clean agent concentration/quantity design calculations to NFPA 2001 / ISO 14520.
• Prepare design drawings, schematics, BOQs, technical submittals, and method statements for consultant and SCDF/authority approval.
• Conduct system sizing, equipment selection, and vendor/OEM coordination (e.g. cylinder banks, nozzles, detection-actuation interface).
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning — including room integrity (door fan) testing and discharge testing where applicable.
• Coordinate the detection-and-release interface between gas suppression and fire alarm systems.
• Ensure full compliance with SS CP 52, SS 575, SS 578, NFPA 13/14/20/2001/12/750, and SCDF requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and authorities through design, submission, delivery, and handover.
• Provide site technical support, fault diagnosis, and resolution during execution and defects-liability periods.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–6 years' experience in fire protection design/engineering within the M&E or building/construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience with clean agent / gaseous suppression and special hazards systems.
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software (e.g. HydraCAD, Pipenet, AutoSPRINK) and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity Planning & Management

• Plan and manage data centre and network room capacity covering space, power, and cooling.
• Develop short‑, medium‑, and long‑term capacity forecasts based on IT demand and growth projections.

Infrastructure Assessment

• Evaluate electrical infrastructure including UPS, transformers, PDUs, generators, and redundancy (N, N+1).

• Mentor new hires and less experienced team members on CMP fundamentals, process development, and Micron systems

• As a technical expert, lead or drive team or sites on complex, multi-disciplinary projects in quality focused meetings, process and yield improvement meetings, cost, and productivity improvement meetings

• Using, applying, and leveraging AI, identify opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize processes, and support innovation by incorporating AI-driven solutions and enabling data-driven decision-making across projects and teams

Education/Job requirements:

• Masters /PhD with 5-10 years or Bachelors degree with 7-12 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry with a background in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) Process in 300mm wafer fabrication

Must Have Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience CMP equipment operation such as AMAT (LKP), EBARA-300X and next generation CMP equipment, optical metrology, profilometry, polishing slurries, conditioners, and polishing pads

• Experience in dielectrics/metals CMP process development on 3D NAND or other memory technology

• Understanding of various integration and structural impacts and constraints related to film deposition and other upstream/downstream processes

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey the message in concise and effective manner both in local as well as remote communications.

• An understanding of the general process steps and process flow for memory processing planar and vertical NAND memory.

• Strong interest in Data science, modelling, and drive to use/adopt AI to optimize workflows.

1.Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.

2.Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.

3.Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level

4.Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.

5.Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.

6.Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.

Key Qualifications / Requirements: Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

- Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in projectoriented

environments within the hospitality or integrated resort industry.

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures

(TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, VPN, wireless, etc.).

- Experience with network infrastructure design and implementation,

including LAN/WAN, data centers, and cloud networks.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from leading

vendors (e.g., Cisco, Check Point, F5).

- Demonstrated experience configuring wireless controllers and

enterprise APs from scratch rather than only inheriting existing

environments.

- Strong hands-on troubleshooting background with production incidents

involving controllers, APs, and client devices.

- Direct Ekahau experience for both design and validation surveys.

- Familiarity with network security principles, including firewalls, IDS,

NAC.

• Salary: $3800 to $4500
