Responsibilities

·      Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, andvendors to prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, technical submissions,RFIs, and method statements.

·      Assist the M&E Engineer in planning and sequencing M&E works to avoid clashes and ensure smooth integration with architectural and structural trades.

·      Review M&E drawings and compare them with other disciplines to identify discrepancies, clashes, and constructability issues before work execution.

·      Liaise closely with subcontractors to ensurematerial procurement schedules, delivery timelines, and installation plans meetthe project requirements.

·      Follow up on authority submission requirements(BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA) and assist consultants and subcontractors in ensuring required documents are prepared on time.

·      Resolve coordination issues by proposing technical solutions or alternatives and ensuring decisions are communicated clearly to all involved parties.

·      Support QA/QC activities, including site inspections, material verification, and monitoring rectification works for non-compliances.

·      Ensure site safety compliance by coordinating with the WSH team and ensuring that subcontractors follow RA, SWP, and permit-to-work processes.

·      Provide guidance and support to M&E Supervisors by clarifying technical requirements, reviewing their inspection findings, and mentoring them to improve their coordination, documentation, and site-management skills.

Responsibilities

·               To coordinate with consultants/subcontractors onthe shop drawings/ samples/ method statement and keep all involved partiesupdated of the latest changes.

·               To attend project/technical meeting and resolvesite issues with owner/consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.

·               To verify the work done on site is in accordancewith the approved drawings/ specifications/ authority’s requirement and ensuredthat the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.

·               Conduct weekly M&E meeting with the M&Esub-contractors to ensure that their work is in proper sequence and ensure thatthe site supervisors are aware of the work sequence so as to avoid clashes ofsite activities.

·               To resolve site issues withconsultants/subcontractor/supplier ASAP in order to minimise delay to theconstruction progress.

·               To ensure that the related documentations areupdated and ready for ISO audit.

·               To cooperate with the safety department andcarry out the assigned duties within the safety framework including permit towork.

·               To coordinate with consultants and contractorsfor combined services/equipment testing so that site is ready for authorities’inspection.
