About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Operations / Business Planning Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of the sales function. This is a non-sales role focused on strategic planning, team structure, and supporting long-term client growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee sales operations to ensure alignment with business objectives and growth targets
- Develop and implement business plans and commercial strategies to support revenue growth
- Partner with sales teams to improve performance, pipeline visibility, and reporting quality
- Support client retention and account development initiatives for existing customers
- Analyse sales and market data to provide insights and recommendations to management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering, operations, product) to enhance service delivery and customer experience
- Manage product lifecycle during commercialization phase and contribute to product roadmap development
- Develop product forecasts and monitor financial performance and profitability
- Support go-to-market execution, including product launches and market introduction plans
- Define and refine pricing guidelines, including Volume Purchase Agreements (VPA)
- Support product marketing initiatives, including strategy development and commercial documentation
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in sales operations / business planning / commercial management
- Good understanding of sales processes and team management
- Experience in engineering or technical industry is highly preferred
- Prior exposure to sales or client-facing roles is advantageous
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
