Job Summary

You will lead the coordination and supervision of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations while driving project planning, design, and cost control to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications and resolve technical clarifications to ensure accurate execution
• Develop detailed method statements and identify drawing discrepancies to support project accuracy
• Plan project activities, manage material requisition, control costs, and document progress to meet project objectives
• Supervise M&E works and collaborate with client representatives, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain seamless workflow and timely project delivery
• Enforce compliance of all M&E works with applicable standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
• Participate actively in project meetings to communicate progress and address challenges
• Manage temporary M&E installations such as site offices, trial holes, and temporary power supplies to support project needs
• Execute additional duties as assigned by Management to support project success

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E coordination to effectively manage complex projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to produce and review technical drawings
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently
• Experience with condominium projects is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Verify completeness of tender documents and update amendments and corrigenda
• Identify discrepancies in tender documents and raise queries to resolve issues promptly
• Perform precise measurements and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities to support accurate cost estimation
• Coordinate the calling of quotations, pricing, and compilation of Pre-Qualification Memoranda (PQM) and post-tender questionnaires to facilitate informed tender submissions
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and control
• Solicit subcontractor quotations, prepare cost comparison reports, negotiate terms, and recommend awards to optimize project costs
• Draft and manage subcontract agreements to formalize contractual obligations

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies by coordinating with technical teams and consultants before work commencement
• Manage subcontractors and oversee site work progress to align with project timelines and quality standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office for project scheduling and documentation

Job Description

• Supervise and manage all architectural works at the project site, ensuring timely execution and quality workmanship

• Ensure compliance with BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards; conduct regular inspections and coordinate rectifications as required

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth progress of architectural works

• Review and monitor shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and ensure alignment with design intent and specifications

• Plan and supervise architectural finishing works such as tiling, painting, ceiling, doors, windows, and external works

• Carry out inspections, trade demonstrations, and mock-ups to ensure workmanship meets approved standards

• Support and lead pre-inspections and inspections with consultants and authorities for TOP, QP, and RI submissions

• Identify defects early and drive prompt rectification to meet quality benchmarks

• Liaise with the QA/QC team to implement and maintain a robust quality control plan for architectural elements
