As a Quality Assurance (QA) Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of outgoing products within high-volume manufacturing environments, in alignment with specifications and quality standards. Job Summary

The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring that all imported and locally sourced fresh produce meets the company’s quality standards and customer requirements. The role includes conducting container unstuffing inspections, monitoring product quality throughout storage and distribution, preparing Arrival Quality Reports (AQR), supporting supplier claims, and working closely with procurement, warehouse, sales, and customers to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Container Inspection

·        Attend container unstuffing and conduct quality inspections upon arrival.

·        Check pulp temperature, packaging condition, pallet condition, carton labelling, and overall shipment condition.

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant/ Research Associate (QC Analytical Chemist) in the Department of Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. CIRC is a dedicated molecular imaging research centre. It is equipped with on-site capability for the preparation of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a state-of-the-art GMP-certified facility. CIRC is positioned to support both academic and commercially led clinical research programs, with dedicated clinical imaging facilities area advanced modalities of PET-CT and PET-MRI. Purpose of the post

The QC Analytical Chemist will be responsible to, and work closely with Head of QC, to ensure the successful and safe release of radiopharmaceuticals manufactured at CIRC. The QC Analytical Chemist’s principal role will be to perform all quality control tests required by pharmacopeia. Alongside with maintaining the inventory of raw materials, maintenance of equipment and all the necessary documentation required for the QC laboratory in compliance to PIC/S GMP.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The QC Analytical Chemist will be responsible for:

• Performing routine QC release testing (HPLC, GC, radioTLC etc) on radiopharmaceutical to ensure quality and safe for clinical use in compliance with PIC/S GMP requirements.
• Support routine QC operations such as daily equipment checks, monthly standard calibration, documentation activities.
• Conducting routine microbial testing activities such as microbial plate incubation, sterility testing, bioburden testing, etc and liaising with third party contractors if required.
• Managing raw materials, including inventory control, purchasing, receipt and status tracking of raw materials.
• Developing and validating QC test methods for the radiopharmaceutical QC release testing.
• Assisting in preparation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIN), Recordsheets (REC), etc and fill in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
• Supporting in the managing of equipment in the QC and Metabolite laboratories, including qualification, operation, maintenance, cleaning, calibration and re-qualification activities.
• Supporting Production in Research & Development activities when required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping within QC laboratories, raw material storage areas, and the cyclotron facility.
• Handling chemical and biohazard waste disposal activities for QC department in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.

• Assist to implement, maintain and to continuously improve on the ISO certification and system in relate to ISO 9001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001
• Assist to review ISO 9001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 related manual, policies, procedures, business contingency plan and specified requirements and ensure they are implemented and complied to
• Assist to manage, participate and ensure all quality control and assurance processes / activities are in compliance to Company's standard, SOPs and WIs and customer’s requirements
• Facilitate and support in the review of processes and workflow to improve operational effectiveness
• Coordinate external audits and monitor corrective and preventive measures
• Participate in project, work studies, work committees, company-wide promotional activities and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to assess quality performance, identify areas of improvement and monitor the corrective and preventive measures
• Ensure that corrective actions taken are adequate and analyse quality records for adverse trends
• Liaise with internal and external parties on QMS related issue
• Gather and prepare data from audits, compliance checks or any other areas as requested for management reporting
• Support company’s business effort and projects for client engagement and support, participate in the tender bidding
• Ensure that all information security management system related policies, procedures and specified requirements are implemented and complied to.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Science/Engineering from a recognized institution
• Preferably 2-3 years of work experience in Quality related work in the facilities management and/or engineering industry
• Preferably ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certified
• Preferably knowledge of Business Contingency Management System and Information Security System
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Resourceful and process good problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work well in a team
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior

• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets for Business Assurance and Certification services within the Southern Region of Malaysia.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across various industries, providing consultative solutions for certification, audit, training, and assurance services.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market development activities.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and solution discussions to understand business needs and propose suitable SGS services.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in accordance with company guidelines.
• Work closely with technical, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Support the implementation of national and regional sales initiatives to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities, and provide feedback to management on business opportunities and risks.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and customer records within the CRM system.
• Support key account development activities and contribute to customer retention and business expansion efforts.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior sales team members where required.
• Ensure compliance with SGS policies, procedures, Code of Integrity, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or Senior Management.
