Job Summary

The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring that all imported and locally sourced fresh produce meets the company’s quality standards and customer requirements. The role includes conducting container unstuffing inspections, monitoring product quality throughout storage and distribution, preparing Arrival Quality Reports (AQR), supporting supplier claims, and working closely with procurement, warehouse, sales, and customers to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Container Inspection

·        Attend container unstuffing and conduct quality inspections upon arrival.

·        Check pulp temperature, packaging condition, pallet condition, carton labelling, and overall shipment condition.

·        Inspect fruit for defects such as bruising, decay, soft fruit, dehydration, mechanical damage, mould, sunburn, shrivel, and other quality issues.

·        Verify shipment quality against purchase specifications and supplier agreements.

2. Quality Assurance & Monitoring

·        Monitor product quality during storage and distribution.

·        Conduct routine warehouse quality inspections and stock rotation checks.

·        Recommend sorting, repacking, disposal, or sales strategies based on product condition.

·        Ensure cold chain integrity is maintained throughout handling and storage.

3. AQR (Arrival Quality Report) & Documentation

·        Prepare detailed Arrival Quality Reports (AQR) with inspection findings and photographs.

·        Document quality defects with supporting evidence for internal records and supplier communication.

·        Maintain inspection records and quality databases accurately.

4. Supplier Claims & Customer Support

·        Prepare documentation to support supplier quality claims, including reports, photos, temperature records, invoices, and disposal evidence where required.

·        Coordinate with surveyors, insurers, and suppliers during quality investigations.

·        Support the Sales team by responding to customer quality enquiries and complaints.

5. Wholesale Market & Customer Monitoring

·        Monitor product quality and market acceptance at wholesale markets and key customer locations.

·        Collect market feedback regarding fruit appearance, sizing, colour, eating quality, and shelf life.

·        Provide recommendations to procurement and management based on market observations.

6. Food Safety & Compliance

·        Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations and company food safety procedures.

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant/ Research Associate (QC Analytical Chemist) in the Department of Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. CIRC is a dedicated molecular imaging research centre. It is equipped with on-site capability for the preparation of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a state-of-the-art GMP-certified facility. Purpose of the post

The QC Analytical Chemist will be responsible to, and work closely with Head of QC, to ensure the successful and safe release of radiopharmaceuticals manufactured at CIRC. The QC Analytical Chemist’s principal role will be to perform all quality control tests required by pharmacopeia. Alongside with maintaining the inventory of raw materials, maintenance of equipment and all the necessary documentation required for the QC laboratory in compliance to PIC/S GMP.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The QC Analytical Chemist will be responsible for:

• Performing routine QC release testing (HPLC, GC, radioTLC etc) on radiopharmaceutical to ensure quality and safe for clinical use in compliance with PIC/S GMP requirements.
• Support routine QC operations such as daily equipment checks, monthly standard calibration, documentation activities.
• Conducting routine microbial testing activities such as microbial plate incubation, sterility testing, bioburden testing, etc and liaising with third party contractors if required.
• Managing raw materials, including inventory control, purchasing, receipt and status tracking of raw materials.
• Developing and validating QC test methods for the radiopharmaceutical QC release testing.

As Customer Excellence & Quality manager, you will be assigned directly to one or more major customers/ dealers to ensure their requirements are fully understood and translated to JCI’s design and operations processes.

This role will drive communication and action working directly with customer focal points for quality, account executives, PBU Quality leaders and other functional experts and leaders such as R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Service.

This role includes establishing critical customer quality metrics for assigned key accounts while coordinating with the Customer Excellence & Quality Leader, orchestrating escalation resolution, and advocating for customers to ensure JCI is the best supplier. This person will be responsible to the assigned customers/account teams to drive improvement in key customer metrics by identifying issues/opportunities, initiating resolution/improvement plans and driving/tracking actions by engaging appropriate functional management and business units to ensure full support.

The scope of this role can be global/regional and will likely involve multiple PBUs.

How you will do it:

• Work with the Customer Excellence & GlobalQuality Senior Director and other Customer Excellence & Quality Managers tobuild and manage the processes to drive improved customer experience.  This includes the adherence to global processes, tools and communications mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate visibility of opportunities and issues driving to quick action and results.
• Track and proactively share key customer insights and feedback to ensure product design and process improvements for a better customer experience. Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to create feedback cycles, and to inform and enact these improvements
• Oversee the communication to the customer and resolve escalations when non-conformances are found at the customer in a timely and cost-efficient manner
• Develop and implement customer quality scorecard / KPIs to drive performance baselining and improvement on an ongoing basis
• Actively engage with your leadership and thebroader organization to support a customer-focused culture
• Account executive relationship management –Responsible for weekly updates to key partners across the business.  Must create and communicate progress in a way that builds confidence and demonstrates continued progress towards a world-class Quality organization
• Manage key partner relationships to ensure alignment across the enterprise via appropriate planning, execution, visibility, tracking, and governance
• Responsible for sharing Customer Quality and PMO best practices. Drive the use of best practices and apply lessons learned

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant (Quality Assurance (QA) Executive) in the Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. CIRC is a dedicated molecular imaging research centre. It is equipped with on-site capability for the preparation of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a state-of-the-art GMP-certified facility. CIRC is positioned to support both academic and commercially led clinical research programs, with dedicated clinical imaging facilities area advanced modalities of PET-CT and PET-MRI. Purpose of the post

This role provides QA support across document control, batch record management, training records, supplier documentation, audits, and quality system activities. Responsibilities include maintaining quality registers, tracking due dates and CAPA actions, supporting Bizzmine eQMS document control, checking Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness, and assisting with QA reporting and trending. Also supports GMP training, supplier qualification records, inspection readiness, and maintenance of key controlled documents. In addition, the role contributes to QA improvement work and is being trained to support investigational radiopharmaceutical release as an Authorised Person under supervision.

Main duties and responsibilities

The QA Executive will be able to:

1. Provide OMS Support – maintain and update registers
2. Assist in document management & eQMS (Bizzmine)
3. Support Batch Record (BMR) & QA Operations
4. Assist, arrange & support training and filing of training records, especially the annual GMP training
5. Assist & support in maintaining supplier and material documentation
6. Assist & support during audit & inspection period
7. Assist in QA related improvement projects and digital quality system activities
8. To take up the role of Authorised Person for the release of investigational radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with PIC/S GMP (Under supervision)

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. Have a minimum of bachelor’s degree (Honours) or higher in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences or related discipline;
2. Previous experience working in a PET radiochemistry facility is highly desirable. 
3. Typically, 1-3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC/QMS in a regulated environment (GMP/PIC/S GMP experience is strongly preferred). 
4. Excellent understanding of radiochemical and radiopharmaceutical processes, including material flows, quality controls, and critical parameters in GMP environments. 
5. Strong organizational and project planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a regulated environment. 
6. Working knowledge of GMP principles and their application to equipment qualification, maintenance, and facility operations. 
7. Understanding of radiation safety principles and engineered controls for radioactive materials. 
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving across scientific, quality, and engineering disciplines. 
9. Working knowledge of PIC/S GMP and good documentation practices (GDP). 
10. Strong coordination skills; able to follow up across teams and manage multiple deadlines. 
11. Comfortable working with digital systems (experience with eQMS is advantageous). 
12. Clear written communication, with strong attention to detail and integrity in a GMP environment 
13. Need to be adaptable and flexible to perform required tasks beyond the job description

SUMMARY

Represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings, which reflect intended/actual activities.

· Provide support for all quoting activities by participation in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.

· Evaluate and support inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.

· Support all training programs by development and implementation of specialized training sessions for all applicable functions.

· Conduct periodic review and maintenance of all documentation files; develop appropriate systems for document storage and access.

· Review all supplier or customer discrepancies. Coordinate and track the corrective/preventative action effort.

· Provide trend analysis of defects occurring at the customer, supplier and internally.

· Participate in the vendor survey activities as applicable.

· Drive proactive participation with suppliers and (when possible) aid in their process improvement efforts.

· Interface with all departments as applied to the Policies and Procedures with special regard to ISO, EN4600 and GMP documentation.

· Monitor departmental activities and provide technical and logistical guidance/support for the quality engineering staff as applicable.

· Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.

· Support and focus corrective action efforts and utilizing the SPC data and corrective action tracking package and create and implement any meetings, procedures, or team-building concepts as necessary as part of the corrective/preventative effort.

· Serve as liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on quality related issues.

· Improve technical support for the quality organization.
