Saturday (Adhoc): 6am to 2pm, off-in-lieu will be given
Remuneration
$3,000 to $5,000, depending on qualifications and working experience
You will be subjected to a probationary period of 3 months before being offered a full time position with the company.
Bonus to be paid depending on performance after completion of one year’s service
Annual Leave
You will be entitled to Fourteen (14) days of annual leave upon confirmation of your appointment and any other leave days(e.g Childcare) as mandated by the government. Such leave shall be taken subject to the exigencies of service. Any unused leave will be forfeited by the end of that calendar year.

Job Summary
The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring that all imported and locally sourced fresh produce meets the company’s quality standards and customer requirements. The role includes conducting container unstuffing inspections, monitoring product quality throughout storage and distribution, preparing Arrival Quality Reports (AQR), supporting supplier claims, and working closely with procurement, warehouse, sales, and customers to maintain consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Incoming Container Inspection
· Attend container unstuffing and conduct quality inspections upon arrival.
· Check pulp temperature, packaging condition, pallet condition, carton labelling, and overall shipment condition.
· Inspect fruit for defects such as bruising, decay, soft fruit, dehydration, mechanical damage, mould, sunburn, shrivel, and other quality issues.
· Verify shipment quality against purchase specifications and supplier agreements.
2. Quality Assurance & Monitoring
· Monitor product quality during storage and distribution.
· Conduct routine warehouse quality inspections and stock rotation checks.
· Recommend sorting, repacking, disposal, or sales strategies based on product condition.
· Ensure cold chain integrity is maintained throughout handling and storage.
3. AQR (Arrival Quality Report) & Documentation
· Prepare detailed Arrival Quality Reports (AQR) with inspection findings and photographs.
· Document quality defects with supporting evidence for internal records and supplier communication.
· Maintain inspection records and quality databases accurately.
4. Supplier Claims & Customer Support
· Prepare documentation to support supplier quality claims, including reports, photos, temperature records, invoices, and disposal evidence where required.
· Coordinate with surveyors, insurers, and suppliers during quality investigations.
· Support the Sales team by responding to customer quality enquiries and complaints.
5. Wholesale Market & Customer Monitoring
· Monitor product quality and market acceptance at wholesale markets and key customer locations.
· Collect market feedback regarding fruit appearance, sizing, colour, eating quality, and shelf life.
· Provide recommendations to procurement and management based on market observations.
6. Food Safety & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations and company food safety procedures.
· Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices during inspections.
· Support internal audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
· Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Horticulture, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
· Good report writing and Microsoft Office skills.
· Able to work independently and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers.
