Quality Manager (Call Centre), 1 Year Contract Up $7.5K
Working Location: Near to Clarke Quay MRT / Novena MRT
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs (8.30AM to 6.00PM), Fri (8.30AM to 5.30PM)

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Project Director supporting in attaining holistic Service Levels for various assigned matrices.

• Manage a team to achieve operational objectives through workforce planning, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), execution, and contingencies.

• Provide strategic plans to synergize mailboxes and escalation management to attain timely and professional deliveries with articulacy.

• Plays a pivotal role to work with the various survey managers to drive quality standards and service excellence throughout inbound and outbound workforce.

• Align objectives and setting expectations with Stakeholders on realistic Service Levels versus email volume, timeframe, and other correlating factors.

• Handle internal and external escalations via investigations, incident reporting, findings and providing de-escalation solutions.

• Perform service recovery calls/emails as needed for de-escalation.

• Determining call quality and standards via call audits and calibrations.

• Evaluate and improve current email templates for continuous improvement.

• Ensure team is fully utilized during lull period by initiatives to support continuous productivity.

• Timely reporting to management team and stakeholders

• Conduct coaching and mentoring to the team to improve knowledge, skills and attitudes.

• Conduct year-end appraisals and identifying talents for retention and recognition with Talent Management team.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Description

Job Summary:

You will use product domain knowledge and sound engineering practices, to perform embedded firmware test activities for Rockwell Automation products.

You are going to lead test strategy, test planning, and test execution activities in multiple projects. You will report to Manager, Embedded Software and based in Singapore working in Hybrid.

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as test lead and create test documentation such as test strategy, test plan, test report.
• Be a mentor and provide technical skills to more junior engineers.
• Understand and translate requirements, design/functional specifications to define test requirements and design test cases.
• Participate in reviews for feature requirements.
• Perform analysis and improvement on the existing test cases.·
• Develop test ware, test script, and build firmware functional tests based on Rockwell guidelines.
• Debug failures, report anomalies. Report progress to managers and escalate issues on time to project or management.
• Perform regression testing whenever necessary.
• Contribute to test KPI activities by leading the continuous improvement activities.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge and expertise in Test Engineering processes (Agile, continuous integration) and methods for test case design and test coverage optimization.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in test automation methodologies.
• Programming experience in scripting languages is required - Python.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in real-time embedded system/hardware.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Lead technical teams and has 5+ years' experience in test engineering especially as a test lead.
• Experience with bug/anomaly tracking and evaluation systems.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience with test lab development.
• Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery process.
• Experience/knowledge in network protocols and analyzers.
• Familiarity with industrial communication network/protocols, e.g.: EtherNet/IP, HART.
• Experience/knowledge of industrial automation and PLC applications.
• Familiarity with Rockwell products, with IO's, controller's families, and Studio5000 Application Software.
• Lead, communicate and engage solutions with cross functional teams to find solutions and make decisions.
• Ability to work in teams or independently, action-oriented.
• Passionate with testing, creative, and curious to explore technical innovation.
• Be able to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.

This is an entry-level position offering comprehensive on-the-job training, designed for candidates with strong analytical capabilities, adaptability to dynamic, high-priority environments, and a commitment to quality excellence. Ideal candidates hold a diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a closely related discipline; recent graduates are especially encouraged to apply.

1. Conduct systematic quality inspections of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to ensure full compliance with internal specifications and applicable regulatory standards;

4. Proven ability to work independently and effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments; 

5. Proficiency in reading and comprehending technical documentation in Chinese is an advantage.
