Job Purpose

To provide accurate and timely data entry support for all store and inventory transactions related to Earth Retaining Systems (ERSS)materials, equipment, tools, and project resources, ensuring proper inventory control and record management.

Key Responsibilities

·       Perform daily data entry of stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and inventory adjustments into the ERP/inventory management system.

·       Maintain accurate records of ERSS materials, including steel struts, walers, sheet piles, beams, equipment, tools, and consumables.

·       Verify and process Delivery Orders (DO), Goods Received Notes (GRN), Material Requisition Forms, and other inventory documents.

·       Update inventory movement records for project sites and store locations.

·       Assist in tracking material allocation, return of materials, and equipment utilization across projects.

·       Generate inventory reports, stock movement reports, and inventory status updates as required.

·       Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits by reconciling physical stock with system records.

·       Ensure proper filing and maintenance of store documents and inventory records.

·       Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Logistics ,and Store personnel to ensure accurate inventory information.

·       Report inventory discrepancies, data errors, or abnormal stock movements to the Store Manager.

·       Comply with company procedures, inventory control policies, and ISO requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE "O" Level, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in data entry, inventory control, store administration, or warehouse operations.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or ERSS-related industries will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

About this role

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for leading and executing sourcing and procurement activities for complex process automation projects, combining engineering knowledge with commercial expertise. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of technically compliant materials, equipment, and services, aligned with project specifications and quality standards. The Procurement Engineer will work closely with Project Execution, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to support large-scale project execution, mitigate technical risks, and ensure optimal supplier selection. In addition, the role will be part of the broader supply chain activities including planning, logistics coordination, and order fulfilment to ensure seamless end-to-end MRO and project delivery. In addition, the position drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports business growth, and ensures alignment of local project execution strategies with the overall objectives of the Endress+Hauser Group.

This role will be based in Singapore, is part of the Operation Excellence Department under the Project Execution Team and reports to the Project Manager.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

Technical Sourcing &Procurement

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities for engineering projects involving instrumentation, control systems, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to ensure accurate sourcing decisions.
• Evaluate suppliers from both technical and commercial perspectives, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Supplier Evaluation &Engineering Alignment

• Conduct technical assessments of suppliers to ensure capability to meet engineering specifications and project standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve specification gaps.
• Participate in technical discussions, clarifications, and bid evaluations for major procurement packages.
• Negotiate terms of contracts & conditions including pricing and delivery terms.
• Maintaining the supplier register and controls in line with our ISO 9000 requirements
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, certifications, and industry standards.

Project-Based Procurement Execution

• Manage procurement for large and complex projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
• Manage key suppliers and potential suppliers to ensure smooth execution of the supply process from enquiry to delivery.
• Support value engineering initiatives by proposing technically viable and cost-effective alternatives.
• Identify and mitigate technical and supply risks, particularly for critical or long-lead items.
• Work closely with Supply Chain to align procurement activities with inventory availability and delivery schedules to ensure timely project execution
• Monitor order fulfilment status and proactively identify and resolve supply or delivery issues while maintaining visibility of order pipeline.
• Assist in coordination of inbound shipments, customs clearance, and delivery to project sites where required.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment across procurement, delivery schedules, and project requirements.

Cost Optimization:

• Drive cost savings through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Negotiating competitive prices whilst ensuring committed quality

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate procurement risks including supplier delays, logistics constraints, and inventory shortages.

Compliance &Documentation:

• Ensure all sourcing and procurement activities comply with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation.

Continuous Improvement :

• Contribute to process improvements in sourcing and purchasing workflows, supplier onboarding, and digital procurement tools.
• Support improvements in end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, and logistics workflows.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform any other tasks required by the Company to support its business strategy.

Key Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related disciplines is preferred)
• 3–5 years of Engineering sourcing or procurement experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or process industries.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation
• Exposure to supply chain operations such as planning, logistics, or order fulfilment will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in project procurement (EPC / SI/ automation projects preferred)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Basic understanding of process instrumentation and automation—covering flow, level, pressure, temperature and analytical measurement technologies.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.

The Analyst 1 (Inventory Control) is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, integrity, and flow efficiency through data-driven analysis, system enablement, and process optimization. This role contributes from day one by strengthening inventory visibility, identifying discrepancies, and supporting operational decision-making. The Analyst also plays a key role in advancing inventory management from manual tracking to automated, system-driven, and intelligent control environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and data integrity across systems (WMS/ERP/MES).
• Monitor inventory movements (receipts, storage, kitting, issuance) and highlight risks such as shortages, excess, or misalignment.

Job Description

1. Procurement Operations

• Develop and implement procurement and materials strategies that are cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with internal policies and project objectives.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order (PO) issuance, ensuring all materials and services meet EPC contract and project specifications.
• Monitor procurement performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all procurement activities in line with audit and compliance requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of all technical, contractual, and commercial documentation.

2. ERP and Systems Management

• Serve as the key user of the company’s ERP and other procurement-related platforms.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry to support effective tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Leverage ERP capabilities to enhance procurement efficiency and maintain data integrity.

3. Contract & Supplier Management

• Administer and maintain procurement contracts, ensuring documentation accuracy, visibility, and accessibility.
• Lead supplier qualification and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
• Prepare and present Commercial Bid Evaluations for stakeholder review and approval.

4. Order Management & Expediting

• Track and expedite material deliveries in accordance with PO terms, project timelines, and delivery milestones.

• Monitor supplier performance and proactively address potential slippages to avoid schedule delays.
• Maintain and distribute expediting reports to project, QA/QC, and site teams per project procedures.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping coordinators to track shipments and ensure timely receipt of materials.

5. Schedule Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Coordinate project procurement schedules to ensure milestone adherence and timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks in the supply chain or manufacturing process.
• Address over, short, and damage (OS&D) issues with suppliers, logistics providers, and site personnel to ensure prompt resolution.

6. Performance Measurement & Reporting

• Track procurement and expediting KPIs, including P2P cycle times, supplier delivery performance, cost savings, and procurement efficiency.
• Prepare regular progress and performance reports highlighting critical procurement issues impacting project schedules.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review findings and implement improvements.

7. Strategic & Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Support strategic initiatives to improve procurement practices, optimize the supply chain, and leverage technology for data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to lessons learned, supplier development, and process improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed on market trends, new suppliers, and emerging technologies to enhance sourcing strategies.

8. Team Collaboration & QHSE Compliance

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of combined experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain roles within EPC or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration.
