MAINJOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum a diploma in an engineering discipline, preferably in mechanical or mechatronics.
• Proven track records with relevant experience and expertise of procurement functions of semiconductor equipment industry.
• Some exposure in ERP system and MS office applications.
• Possess integrity of the highest standards.
• A team player with interpersonal and communication skills.

Duty and Responsibility:

The Procurement Engineer investigates the market with specifications and performance requirements for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and products, analyses technical and commercial data based on the responses received, re-iterates with bidders, recommending those most desirable using tools like bid comparison tables/ BOQs. On approval, the Procurement Engineer issues the Purchase Order, tracks and expedites the supply, handles Inspections and delivery to site. The Procurement Engineer also provides assistance in supplier-site co-ordination for site handling, storage installation and commissioning.
