Job Description

• Position Title: DTP Desktop Publishing Admin Assistant
• Working Location: Bukit Merah
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8am – 6pm / 9am – 7pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Support in the end-to-end production of educational publications, from manuscript development through to final printing.
• Coordinate with editors, graphic designers, layout artists, printers, and external service providers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
• Support page layout preparation, proofreading activities, formatting tasks, and quality checks to maintain content accuracy and presentation standards.
• Plan and track production timelines, monitor ongoing assignments, and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Maintain and organise production-related records, files, documentation, and administrative materials.
• Provide general administrative support and undertake additional production-related tasks as required.

• Minimum Diploma holder.
• Experience in publishing, print operations, project coordination, or administrative support is advantageous.
• Meticulous with strong organisational abilities and effective time-management skills.
• With proofreading experience is a plus.
• Familiar with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and perform well in a deadline-driven environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assist in the preparation, editing, and proofreading of directory listings and published content for both print and online formats

—

Coordinate with clients to collect, verify, and update their company listing information accurately and on time

—

Support the production schedule — tracking deadlines, following up with contributors, and ensuring content is ready for publication

—

Manage correspondence with clients, advertisers, and business partners professionally and promptly

—

Maintain organised filing systems for both digital and physical documents

—

Handle general office administration — scheduling, invoicing support, data entry, and record keeping

—

Assist in updating the Wesley Connect website with new and revised listing content

—

Support Diana Teo and the wider management team with ad hoc tasks and special projects as required
