About the Company

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end operational execution for the Singapore and APAC export business. What you’ll do

As the Manager of Fraud Operations, you will lead a team of high-performing fraud analysts and set an inspirational vision for the broader Fraud Operations organization. You will be responsible for driving the execution of short and long-term initiatives to futureproof the organization, ensuring it is well-equipped to scale and adapt to Stripe's highly complex and evolving fraud landscape.

• Lead root cause analysis to identify opportunities to predict, prevent, and mitigate risk within processes and performance.
  
• Define and manage core metrics, SLAs, and performance of the organization.
  
• Identify gaps in current systems, processes, and strategies, and deliver enhancements and process improvements to mitigate existing and emerging risks.
  
• Ensure risk management efforts do not compromise the user experience.

Minimum requirements

• Business-level proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required, as this role involves communications with our users in the Greater China region.
  
• 10+ years of experience in fraud/risk or management roles, including at least 2+ years of directly leading and developing high-performing teams.
  
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  
• Passion for delivering a user-centric experience while effectively managing risk.
  

Preferred qualifications

• Expertise in fraud and risk management including data analysis, root cause analysis, and process improvement. Experience analyzing data and creating dashboards and visualizations.
  
• Strong proficiency sourcing and analyzing data using SQL.
  
• Experience working closely with engineering teams to develop and enhance investigative tools and treatments.
  
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.

Job Description

• Manage the Company's IT infrastructure and services, including end-user computing.
• Manage and govern IT infrastructure services provided by outsourcing partners and managed service providers as assigned including contracts and billing matters.
• Responsible for the Company's infrastructure related projects and solutioning such as tech refresh, upgrades, migrations and building new IT Infrastructure capabilities.
• Perform daily BAU tasks such as managing incidents, fulfilment of Service Requests, change requests and application support.
• Work with relevant department(s) and users to lead the IT DR coordination, recovery strategy, planning and execution.
• Assist with IT audit management and matters.
• Ensure delivery and solution comply with internal policies, procedures, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute and document IT Ops procedures and standards as needed in knowledge base.
• System and network patching, capacity and performance management.
• Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to the Company guidelines and established processes.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Business/Finance/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience of strong hands-on technical experience in IT Infrastructure and IT Operations.
• Good understanding of key technologies adopted such as Microsoft Windows Server, Azure Cloud, End User Computing, Active Directory, Virtualization, Networking, Backup/Recovery and Security tools.
• Work experience in FSI (Banking & Insurance) and knowledge in MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) would be an advantage.
• Relevant Professional Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Azure Cloud, Networking, Security) would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in ITIL & ITSM. Some project management experience would be beneficial.
• Strong experience in managing internal stakeholders, end users and vendors.
• Good teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
