Job Summary

Lead and manage project-specific Quality Assurance and Control activities during construction, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements through training, inspections, audits, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver project-specific Quality training to production Supervisors and Sub-contractors QC personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Develop and establish Work Procedures and Instructions to standardize quality processes
• Support the QA/QC Manager in establishing Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT)

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding inspections for structural and piping fabrication, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
• Certified in CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI or equivalent ASNT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Experience conducting project audits and liaising with internal and external auditors
• Knowledge of structural fabrication, piping isometric drawings, and materials
• Proficient in piping line walk and reinstatement inspections through clear interpretation of isometric drawings
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels to foster teamwork

Job Description
