Role: Salesforce Developer

Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce Development

• Certified in Salesforce Platform Developer I, Administrator

• The following Salesforce certificates will be an added advantage: Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer, JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce Consultant Certificates

• Experience in writing Apex classes, triggers, LWC, Visualforce etc. is desired

• Knowledge or understanding of project lifecycle

• Knowledge or working experience in public sector is preferred but not mandatory

• Deep understanding of Salesforce technical requirements, system configuration, development and deployment

• Experience with CI/CD tools, release management and integration are preferred

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of backend microservices, APIs, and batch processing solutions

Provide technical guidance on architecture, API design, error handling, and resiliency patterns

Oversee development activities, including code reviews, standards enforcement, and performance optimization

Drive application performance, scalability, and reliability aligned with SLA requirements

Define and enforce testing strategies, unit testing standards, and code quality practices

Collaborate with DevOps teams for smooth deployment, monitoring, and operational readiness

Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, and Architects to support delivery and resolve technical issues

Mentor team members and support sprint planning and task estimation

Must-Have Skills

Strong expertise in Java backend development with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with AWS, including ECS, AWS SDK integration, and cloud-native deployments

Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock

Good to Have Skills

Experience with React.js and Node.js

Scripting experience for test automation and data migration

Experience developing AWS Lambda functions using Python

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in AS400 COBOL development.
• Experience in the banking domain, particularly in payments.
• Working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL, and DB2 database.
• Familiarity with JIRA and ALDON.
• Experience across the full software delivery lifecycle and maintenance of AS400 applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience working closely with clients to deliver required services.
