ALP, an innovative firm specializing in logistic property development, is seeking Automation Maintenance Engineers to oversee the efficient operations of our upcoming Smart Logistic Warehouse near Bukit Raja, Selangor. This pivotal role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including setup field maintenance performance targets (efficiency & cost) and execution plans for maintenance teams.

The Automation Maintenance Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, including solution planning, property management, and IT, to optimize automation performance and ensure integration of state-of-the-art technology. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for ELV systems, including CCTV, Card Access, Barrier Gate, Lift Access, Public Address, Intercom, SMATV, FTTH, Audio & Stage Lighting, Networking, and ICT systems.

Maintenance Engineer

Basic Qualification/ Skill required

Minimum - ITE (Electronic ) and skill is the most important qualification.

These are the scope of work if you have no experience and are willing to learn.

Will be performing initial testing, analysis and repair of PCB, and other electro-mechanical assembly.

Responsibility

1. Maintain documentation of parts condition upon arrival, during repair as well as final testing prior to shipping out repaired parts.

2. Repair populated PCB which include but not limited to digital board, analog board, RF,etc.

1. Familiar and proficient with different soldering and desoldering technique (Through hole component, smd, bga).

2. Must be familiar with at least one of the following and able to recognize main building block of : SMPS power supply, Servo amp, stepper motor driver, linear power supply.

3. Able to use oscilloscope to troubleshoot parts, power supply to provide power to board under repair, soldering, station, desoldering station, multimeter.

4. Advance skill that will be a plus point.

5.Knowledge of servo motor, encoder and servo amplifier (Sanyo)

6. Programming skill (C, python, basic, other language).

7. Arduino, Raspberry pi, or any other micro controller and sbc.

8. Understanding of reverse engineering technique as well as ability to reverse engineer a PCB, repairing without schematic availability.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to lead in the investigation of Bench/Equipment failures.

• Responsible for the setting-up of means and tools required for multiple pilot, repair and production lines with adequate support from the Central Engineering Team.

• You will be responsible to conduct and support the necessary interfaces, technical negotiation, follow up on supplier realisation and managing of installation.

• Play an active role in the specification and localizing of test benches and tools as well as establishing the necessary maintenance strategies and contracts.

• Required to lead and propose improvement and investment plans.

• Responsible for implementation and maintain cybersecurity rules on the test benches and means.

• Contributes to establish standards, procedures and guidance helpful to the Operation.

• Participate in migration process of benches on the industrial network, backup policy and is the entry point for cybersecurity incident response and actions deployment on industrial means.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic Engineering

• Knowledge in Cybersecurity network implementation on test benches and means will be an advantage.

• Industrial experience in high technology production, especially in new equipment setup and repair environment is an added advantage

• Min 3-5 years of Equipment engineering experience with some Project Management experience is an added advantage

• Understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, tool/bench drawings and other technical documents Knowledge in RF or Test Software Engineering, TPM, implementing and utilizing GR&R for equipment performance/trending is an added advantage

• Hands on experience with installation and commissioning of equipment/tools

• Ability to lead, recommend and implement best practices and improvements to ensure a high level of quality and consistency

• Ability to work in a system-software integrated test bench environment

 Supervise, guide, and inspect the on-site installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of all field instruments.

• Control Systems: Proficient in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and DCS (Distributed Control Systems) architectures.

• Equipment Knowledge: Thorough familiarity with field instrument equipment (valves, transmitters, flowmeters, Esd Valve, etc.).

• Site Execution: Proven track record in managing on-site instrument installation, inspection, and formal project acceptance.

•  Other Skills: Technical reporting, documentation, and cross-border client coordination.

• Background: Good in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering, with prior experience in large-scale Oil & Gas / LNG EPC projects.
