Summary of the Role:

As a Technician III, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering (Computer Numerical Control Machinist), you are responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce precision parts, including selecting tools, setting up machines, and monitoring operations to ensure quality and accuracy. The role also involves interpreting technical drawings and performing minor repairs, including troubleshooting programs and equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities and Role Accountabilities:

• Responsible for operating a CNC milling machine to produce precision parts and components.
• Select the correct cutting tools, adjust the machine settings, and monitor the machine during the process to ensure the parts are being produced in the Machine shop.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Do minor repairs, such as repairing faulty programs and machinery.

About the Role

• Perform first-line troubleshooting and rectification works to General Building, ACMV, Fire and Electrical equipment and Systems.
• Coordinate and assist in the building daily operations.
• Carry out daily inspections at common area M&E equipment and up-keep of the building’s common area.
• Provide front-line response to site management’s feedback and complaints with regards to M&E matters.
• Coordinate and carry out checks on 3rd party contractor's works in common areas and report to MA.
• Maintain proper stock control for all mechanical/electrical equipment and parts.
• Respond and attend to emergency calls, after office hours and for reinforcement of manpower during major breakdown of plant and equipment.
• Supervise and ensure service contractors conduct servicing properly and in accordance to the service contract requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Able to converse, read and write in basic English.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Required Skill(s): Electrical, Building Maintenance, ACMV.
• Experience in building maintenance is a plus

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm
• Night/weekend work may be required depending on service needs

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems
• Liaise with clients on service and maintenance matters
• Lead and guide a team of technicians on daily operations
• Support supervisor in planning and assigning service tasks
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance and service works
• Manage client expectations and maintain good customer relationships
• Ensure all works comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations
• Assist with any other technical duties when required

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in security systems
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have own vehicle
