Step into the world of visual storytelling as a Content Creator Intern. You’ll assist in all stages of the production process – from pre-production planning to post-production editing – and contribute to creating visually impactful and engaging content.

What You'll Do:

Production Planning Support

• Collaborate with the production team to plan and organise upcoming projects
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance production

Pre-Production

• Assist in creating detailed production schedules, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate logistics for shoots, including securing permits and scouting suitable locations
• Help with the preparation and organisation of production equipment

On-Set Production

• Support the crew during shoots by ensuring all equipment is properly set up and functioning
• Assist with lighting, sound, and other technical aspects as required
• Manage on-set documentation, including talent releases and necessary forms

Post-Production Assistance

• Organise and log raw footage for easy access by the editing team
• Contribute to the editing process under the supervision of the post-production team
• Coordinate with editors to help meet project deadlines

Administrative Support

• Manage administrative tasks such as filing paperwork and maintaining production records
• Assist in liaising with vendors, clients, and other key stakeholders

Learning & Development

• Stay updated on industry trends and new production technologies
• Be proactive in learning and adapting to new software and tools used in the production workflow

5) Support the post-production process by editing video footage, adding graphics, and ensuring high-quality output.

6) Assist in maintaining video equipment and managing the production schedule.

7) Research industry trends and best practices in video production and content marketing.

8) Monitor and report on the performance of video content across platforms.

Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is looking for a Video Production Intern to create exciting content that supports the promotion of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in end to end video production - including ideation, storyboarding, filming, & post-production editing. Reporting to our Video Producer, you will collaborate closely with the wider design team, including Art Directors and Motion Graphic Designers to create fun and engaging video content for our products. 

We are looking for someone who can start interning from July onwards, ideally full-time.
For part-time internships, we would require an availability of 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

Video Production and Photography

• Assist in planning and executing video projects from pre-production through to post-production and for our owned website, social media platforms (IG, YT, TT). 

• Work closely with the Video Producer to develop video concepts that align with brand and marketing strategies.

• Operate video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.

• Edit video content using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).

• Capture high-quality photographs for use in various marketing materials and social media.

• Conduct content trend research to create fresh and engaging content to improve our brand presence in the realm of collectibles.

Requirements

• Currently studying Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related programme in an institute of higher education.

• Prior experience in video production and photography for social media and owned site platforms.

• Proficiency in video editing software and post-production techniques.

• Experience with cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment.

• Strong storytelling and creative skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Passion for toys, pop culture and creative storytelling.
