RESPONSIBILITIES

As an SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant, you will contribute to project delivery by applying your functional expertise to support implementations and enhancements. You will work closely with team members and clients, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a strong focus on collaboration and quality outcomes.

• Lead and deliver SAP PP implementations and enhancements across the full project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate them into effective solution designs and technical specifications.
• Configure and optimize SAP PP processes, including MRP, capacity planning, and production execution.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and application support, ensuring system stability and performance throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Drive integration with other SAP modules (MM, PP, QM) and ensure seamless data flow across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Maintain system governance by managing user access, documentation, and testing standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Facilitate workshops, conduct user training, gather requirements, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and translate business needs into system solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

REQUIREMENTS

• For PP Consultants: Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP PP functional implementation and/or support experience, with at least 3 full-cycle (end-to-end) implementations.
• For Senior PP Consultants: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or vendor environment, with at least 5 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and its integration with other SAP modules.
• Hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration, implementation, and support.
• Strong exposure to manufacturing environments (discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing).
• Experience in MRP, capacity planning, production orders, BOMs, routings, and shop floor execution.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and regional/global template rollouts is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in SAP PP and its integration with key modules such as MM, SD, QM, and Product Costing.
• Hands-on experience with business role setup (authorizations) and data migration activities (e.g., data mapping, cleansing, validation, and load execution).
• Willingness to travel regionally and globally for project implementations and rollouts.

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including demand planning, MRP, production planning, scheduling, execution, and shop floor control.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is highly recommended.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

About the Role

The Partnership Product and Marketing, Consultant support strategic initiatives to grow insurance sales through third-party partners by supporting the Partnership Distribution (PD) Sales Distribution teams including partners such as Bancassurance (bank partners), Brokerage, and Financial Advisors, while collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders across the organisation to support the strategic initiatives and business growth.

Working closely the Heads of PD Sales Distribution and PD Enabler teams, as the Product Marketing Lead, you will bridge the gap between internal AIA Middle Office teams and external distribution channels, managing everything from developing product propositions, launching marketing initiatives, and executing events.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Conceptualise and integrate value propositions and partners’ insights into sales enablement assets including EDMs, internal memos, brochures, placemats, pitch decks, videos, playbooks, objection-handling FAQs and face-to-face engagements to drive product adoption and partner engagement.

• Craft product narratives that are easy to understand and relatable for both customers and distribution partners.

• Ensure consistency in tone, visuals, and plain-language standards across all product marketing materials.

• Act as a liaison with PD Sales Distribution teams and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Actuarial, Investments, Marketing, Brand, and Compliance teams.

• Build rapport with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, identify learning gaps and pain points, and create clear action plans to address them. Manage agencies and budgets to ensure timely and effective delivery.

• Tracking and analyse key metrics post content launch, feature adoption and connector revenue to measure the efficacy of partnership-led solutions and providing recommendations for optimization.

• Stay informed of emerging trends in the insurance and marketing industries to refine product marketing content.

• Manage marketing collateral, marketing and hospitality activities for partners and their customers.

• Lead and manage partner communications, including digital portals, to ensure clear and consistent engagement.

• Support partner channels through meetings, seminars, and training workshops.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in product marketing within life insurance or wealth management, covering savings/endowments, ILP/index-linked, and protection products.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional product marketing, marketing initiatives, and delivering measurable business impact.

• Excellent written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present with clarity and impact.
