• Assist project teams to identify quality requirements and develop Project Quality Plans for projects.
• Conduct inspection reports for all subcontractors work to ensure alignment with the quality standards.
• Assist Project Teams with control vendor performance/non-conformance issues and implement actions to correct non-compliance.
• Prepare and submit Request for Inspection (RFI) to consultant prior to official QA/QC inspection and testing activity.
• Carry out the execution of the project as per plan.
• Register all incoming materials and items for the project.
• Responsible for managing day to day lifting operations.
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client’s requirements.
• Review project safety (e.g. lifting plans, etc.).
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Experienced in LTA MRT project is advantageous.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Work closely with project team to resolve technical issues.
• Good attitude and communication skills.
• Willing to multi-task.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated project engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects specialize in contract manufacturing in medical device, from conception through to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues. To establish the process flow, inspection criteria of all the processing steps. improve production and demonstrate excellent project management skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project schedule: To plan, coordinate, and oversee the assembly processes of medical devices or equipment, ensuring that production meets design specifications, regulatory standards ISO 13485 (Medical Devices QMS) and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (QSR) and project deadlines.
• Lead or support IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification) activities.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including procedures, processes and quality plan, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure work performed within desired quality and stipulated schedule.
• Ensure customer’s specification and requirements understood and executed as to provide good engineering solutions communicating with customers, interpreting their needs and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, Electrical Electronic & Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1~2 years of working experience in project coordinator/management or in related field.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Medical device regulations and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in contract manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.

• Familiarity with process operations such as: Temperature control systems, Pressure control systems, Flow control systems, CIP (Clean-In-Place) operations, SIP (Steam-In-Place) operations, TCU (Temperature Control Unit) operations and tuning
• Familiarity with DeltaV or similar process control systems is a must
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to commit to 12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
