Job Summary

Provide comprehensive pre-sales and post-sales technical support for ICT products, ensuring successful project implementation and customer satisfaction through consultancy, demonstrations, installation, training, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical consultancy during pre-sales to support customer decision-making and product proof of concept demonstrations
• Execute post-sales activities including installation, commissioning, training, and maintenance of ICT equipment to ensure operational success
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to coordinate and ensure timely and effective project implementation
• Advise and support the internal sales team with technical expertise to enhance sales effectiveness
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain sufficient stock for fulfilling maintenance contract obligations

The Software Engineer is responsible to develop softwarebased on design requirements and ensure software and subroutines are working tospecification. The role ensures program codes conform to standards and aredelivered with quality, meeting schedule and requirements.

Responsibilities | CORE

- Analyse process and program specifications and translateinto program codes

- Ensure conformance to programming guidelines and bestpractices

- Make changes to configurable items including hardware,software, and documentation

- Perform configuration management planning, identification,controls, and audits

- Develop unit test packages, execute tests, and documentresults to ensure quality

- Support integration testing, system testing, UAT, andimplementation activities

- Fix reported problems or bugs to ensure smooth executionin production

- Investigate errors and initiate amendments and testing forcorrect and efficient system operation

- Prepare and maintain up-to-date system documentation

- Analyse functional requirements and translate intoapplication design using established methodologies

- Ensure codes comply with security guidelines

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, Information Technology, or equivalent

- 1–4 years of experience in developing and deliveringapplication software;

- Relevant system development and maintenance experienceusing Java-related technologies

- Experience with Weblogic Server, Spring, Oracle Database,MyBatis and JSP has added advantage

- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to thinkcreatively

- Proficient in written and spoken English

- Willingness to travel as required

• Manage and resolve application incidents, service requests, and system issues within SLA timelines.

• Monitor application performance, interfaces, and batch jobs to ensure stable operation.

• Perform SQL queries and data analysis for troubleshooting and investigation.

• Support application deployments, system changes, and post-release validation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors for issue resolution and enhancements.

• Maintain documentation, user access, and support compliance activities.

Requirements

• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science / IT or equivalent

• 2–5 years of experience in application support, IT operations, or production support environments.

• Knowledge of application architecture, APIs, system integrations, and batch processing.

• Experience with ticketing and monitoring tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

• Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Able to provide night support 2 - 3 times in a month (based on roster)
