Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary senior / principal digital & System Architect to define and drive the architecture of next-generation CPUs. This role requires deep technical expertise in processor and system-level design, including microarchitecture, power/performance optimization, and integration into complex SoCs. You will be at the forefront of shaping CPU features, system interactions, and performance targets to meet the needs of cutting-edge applications in computing, AI/ML,networking, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

1. CPU Architecture Definition

• Lead the architectural design of high-performance, power-efficient single & Multi CPU cores and subsystems.
• Explore multi-core/multi-threading configurations and dynamic scalability strategies.
• Explore and implement multi-bus system to interconnect all the required high bandwidth communication IPs for high efficiency to meet specified performance of the system.

2. Memory and Cache Subsystem Design

• Define the cache hierarchy, prefetching mechanisms, and coherency protocols (e.g., MESIF, MOESI).
• Specify memory management features, including TLBs, page walkers, and address translation support.
• Optimize memory bandwidth, latency, and efficiency in conjunction with system-level constraints.

3. SoC and Interconnect Integration

• Architect the CPU subsystem’s integration into the broader SoC, including coherency interconnects (e.g., AMBA CHI, CCIX, CXL).
• Collaborate on system-level features such as clock/power domains, interrupt handling, debug interfaces, and security zones (e.g., TrustZone, Secure boot-up and Software protections ).
• Define interfaces and protocols for cache-coherent interconnects and offload accelerators.

4. Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) Optimization

• Build and refine performance models (using simulation, emulation, or hardware prototyping) to predict and optimize PPA trade-offs.
• Conduct workload analysis using industry-standard benchmarks (SPEC, Geekbench, MLPerf) and customer traces.
• Drive architectural decisions based on power modeling and thermal envelope requirements (especially in mobile and embedded systems).

5. System-Level Feature Definition

• Define system-level architectural features such as virtualization (VT-x/SVM), security (SME/SEV, pointer authentication), RAS (reliability, availability, serviceability), and debugging support.
• Architect quality-of-service (QoS), memory bandwidth management, and dynamic resource allocation mechanisms.

6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with RTL design, verification, firmware/software, and physical design teams to ensure architecture intent is maintained through implementation.
• Collaborate with compilers, OS kernel, and toolchain teams to ensure efficient software utilization of architectural features.
• Guide post-silicon bring-up, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis of system bottlenecks.
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience in CPU or SoC architecture, microarchitecture, or performance modeling.
• Deep understanding of system integration and on-chip interconnects.
• Experience with architecture simulation tools and performance evaluation frameworks.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with  Cortex-M85, M55, M33, M23, CM0/4/7 architectures.
• Prior work on SoC products for mobile, server, AI/ML, or networking applications.

As part of the support team, you will play an important role in helping clients use our software smoothly and confidently.

Client Support

• Provide support for our ERP and business software solutions by assisting clients with system-related issues and enquiries

• Respond to support calls, messages, and tickets in a timely and professional manner

• Guide clients on system usage, basic troubleshooting, and issue resolution

• Follow up on outstanding issues and ensure proper closure and communication

Troubleshooting & Issue Handling

• Investigate, troubleshoot, test, and document reported issues

• Work closely with internal teams to identify the root cause of problems

• Escalate issues to the development, project, or management team when required

• Assist in verifying fixes and updates before communicating back to clients

System Support & Maintenance

• Support routine system checks and maintenance activities to help ensure stable performance

• Assist with testing and validation when updates, fixes, or enhancements are released

• Help monitor recurring issues and identify areas for improvement

Documentation & Administration

• Prepare and maintain support records, reports, issue logs, and documentation

• Assist in managing internal support schedules, follow-ups, and coordination tasks

• Ensure support cases are properly documented for tracking and future reference

• Support the team with administrative tasks required for smooth day-to-day operations

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with support, project, and development teams to ensure clients receive accurate and consistent assistance

• Contribute to process improvements by highlighting recurring issues and support challenges

• Assist in maintaining a positive and professional support experience for clients across different industries

What We’re Looking For

Educational Background

• Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Alternatively, Higher Nitec or above in IT or equivalent qualifications

Skills & Qualities

• Strong willingness to learn and grow in a software support role

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented

• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients

• Positive attitude, patience, and a service-oriented mindset

• Able to work independently as well as in a team

• Comfortable handling both support and administrative responsibilities

Bonus Points If You Have

• Familiarity with ERP systems or business software

· Work closely with our respective stakeholders, process owners to identify the project scope, project plan, coordinator deliverables, training and communication

· Engage both internal and external stakeholders on escalation and issue resolution

· Provide direction to ensure that the quality of work produced by the internal/outsourced service teams comprising both the project and operations teams meet the required standard

· Proactively identify ways to enhance work processes to achieve improved performance and translate them into plans and actions to achieve KPI on cost saving

· Provide clear guidance to team members and assist with removing productivity barriers

· Coach, mentor and develop team members for high performance and also service excellence

· Develop and maintain effective process, procedures and documentation including training materials

· Be a valuable partner to management and colleagues by providing accurate and expert advice on own area of work

· Manage IT infrastructure and troubleshooting across various branches and area through:

· Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources

· Qualification: Minimum Degree in the field of Compiter Science/Information Technology or equivalent

· Experience: 8 years of IT work experience, preferably with track record in system development, program management and in project management in IT and IOT

· Other Certification: Certification on Service Management, Project Management and Business Intelligence preferred.
