The Senior Data Engineer role in the Metrics Platform team is a hybrid data and software engineering role. You will be an important member of the team that designs, builds, and operates Grab's metrics platform across metric serving, ingestion, metadata, query generation, platform APIs and several cross platform integrations. Key Accountabilities

• Manage, administer, configure, and provide technical support for network equipment (switches, wireless APs, firewalls, DNS appliances, UPS) and services, including VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules, DNS, and IP address management.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade network hardware firmware/software; apply patches, hotfixes, and manage vulnerability remediation.
• Take ownership of network problems, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and firmware, performing on-site support as needed.
