Key Responsibilities:

• Batch Job Management - monitor the end-of-day batch and ensure that it starts on the prescribed time, perform first level analysis if there’s failure, perform recovery and involve other stakeholders when necessary. Do a milestone check of the critical jobs to ensure they complete on time and do the proper escalation if there’s any delay.
• Application System and Infrastructure Monitoring – constantly monitor the alerts from the monitoring tool that tells whether an application, server, website, service, disk space or other system resources are having issue and inform the support persons if necessary.
• Service Requests and User Support – handling of user requests such as running of one time job, scheduling of new job, copying and resending of file, troubleshooting transactional problem and involving other experts if necessary.
• Software Release Support – support the regular release of new software from development teams by stopping and resuming the batch when necessary and ensuring all systems are available for user sanity testing after release deployment.
• System Patch and Upgrade Support – support the regular third-party system upgrade and patches and minimize any disruption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• If you have 2 plus years of experience in TWS (Tivoli Dynamic Works Console), this is desirable; else if you have experience in a production support role, that is the second preferred work experience for this position.
• Good knowledge of Unix Script & Shell Scripting.

Role Summary:

Baker Hughes production Controls Systems is seeking suitably experience Subsea Production Controls Senior Systems Engineers to work in the Tendering and Project Execution role. •   Reviewing Client specifications, produce tender documentations including technical write up, technical risk registers etc

• Taking a lead role in the technical execution of tender quotes, ranging from system level offering to individual controls equipment orders

•   Leading client negotiations to secure optimal equipment solutions that met technical requirements and ensured cost efficiency

During execution you would be responsible for all technical aspects throughout the lifecycle of the project, covering architecture, design, integration, Test and Acceptance of New Product Initiatives for complex systems.

• ·Supporting the design and development of Subsea Controls system using a Systems Engineering-based approach, conducting requirements management and analysis activities

• Delivering updates to system model, Creating and maintaining requirement specifications, Production of design review material and Functional Design Specification

• Assessing and categorizing new technology and products to satisfy requirements and overall system design intent

• Supporting the definition of the Verification & Validation for the project and support the generation of design verification evidence

• Ensuring designs mature in a controlled manner through the use a robust technical change control and impact assessment process

• Supporting the definition and delivery of the System Integration, Test, and Acceptance phases”

To be successful in this role, you should have

• Degree qualified in an engineering or marine discipline

• Significant Subsea Control Systems experience

• Strong prioritization skills

• The ability to be customer facing

• The ability to work under pressure

• Be comfortable with international travel even though it is not a common requirement 

• Chartered Engineer (or working towards it) - Preferred

• Tendering experience - Preferred

• Subsea Systems Delivery Experience- Preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing and test procedures.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field, and provide customer training as needed.
• Train manufacturing teams on the assembly and testing of both new and existing products, and support integration between software and electrical control systems.
• Prepare clear and structured documentation for analysis, and recommend design improvements.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot product designs while providing feedback for enhancements.
• Evaluate product and equipment performance using field data, and suggest improvements or modifications.
• Travel internationally to assess system performance and support custom installations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn specialized software tools.
• Preferably over 1 year of relevant experience in electrical engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C++, C#, or HDL
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently or supervise project-based tasks when required.

1. Lead the planning, design, and implementation of the Airwallex engineering system;
2. Work with the business/product team to deeply understand the business needs, scenarios, and subsequent development directions, complete system analysis, architecture design, and core function development, and be able to grasp the design of complex systems to ensure the quality of complex architecture;
3. Design and develop components based on the company's microservice framework;
4. Introduce innovative technologies and innovative solutions for the team;
5. Responsible for the construction and management of the technical team, and establish good internal coding standards.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

1. More than 2 years of Core Java development, more than 2 years of experience in Internet application / large financial system / e-commerce platform development;
2. More than one year experience in payment platform development;
3. Bachelor degree in computer science and related majors;
4. Proficient in Java 8, familiar with Java multi-threading, high concurrency, IO / NIO, network communication, etc .;
5. Familiar with commonly used design patterns, with experience in design and development of large-scale distributed, high concurrency, high load, high availability systems;
6. Master various common server technologies, which can optimize service response and data query, ensure various service quality, and solve the problems of high concurrency and high availability;
7. Familiar with Spring / Spring Boot;
8. Familiar with HTTP, TCP / IP protocol and REST specifications;
9. Master Gradle / Maven and other build tools;
10. Familiar with the use of Docker cluster;
11. Familiar with JSON & XML.
