• Position Title: Technical Engineer
• Working Location: Boon Lay
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,500 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: 2-years Contract (Convertible to Permanent)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and specifications
• Create 2D and 3D drawings as needed
• Plan and oversee engineering projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments, including site investigations
• Carry out site inspections and investigations as required
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, authorities, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve design and development issues
• Conduct research and gather data for projects and Capstone initiatives
• Ensure project compliance with current codes of practice and legal requirements
• Attend training courses provided by the company

• Bachelor’s degree in civil & structural engineering, or relevant discipline
• Recognised qualification by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB) preferred
• Experience in restoration, civil or structural engineering design, or project management is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering design software
• Able to perform engineering hand calculations to relevant codes (BS/EC)
• Experience with CAD or BIM is preferred
• Willing to travel as required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with deep expertise in SWIFT-related business domains (standards, payments, and securities) and good technical knowledge in trading systems. This role will provide subject matter expertise on SWIFT flows, oversee technical design reviews, and ensure infrastructure architecture aligns with business and operational requirements.
You will act as the Point-of-Contact (POC) for third-party SWIFT technical teams, guiding implementation planning and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

Job scopes

• Provide in-depth expertise in SWIFT business and technical flows.
• Review and oversee SWIFT infrastructure architecture blueprints in collaboration with cross-functional IT and operations teams.
• Act as POC with third-party SWIFT technical teams, offering guidance on infrastructure implementation planning.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resource availability.
• Lead business process modelling with process owners and third-party teams, ensuring automation and adoption.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for analysts and developers.
• Review and develop test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Provide arbitration and subject matter expertise when requirements conflicts arise.
• Advise on best practices and guide implementation planning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services, mainly in a technical business lead role.
• Good background in banking operations, back-office processes, or system integration.
• Extensive knowledge of SWIFT products and applications: Alliance Gateway, Alliance Access, WebAccess, SWIFTNet, FIN messaging, ISO 20022.
• Deep understanding of payments and securities messaging flows.
• Familiarity with SWIFT’s Customer Security Program (CSP) and proposed controls.
• Experience with BPM tools and process automation.
• Excellent knowledge of IT technology stacks in medium to large-scale implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, able to work independently in fast-paced environments, and adhere to governance processes.

As a Data Center AutoCAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with our engineering teams to help out our growing infrastructure needs and show your work through your command of your AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities:

● Design and create layouts of data center infrastructure including facilities structure, cabinets, overhead ladders and raceways, structured cabling, aisles (hot & cold), cabinets, mechanical, electrical, servers, storage, and networking equipment.

● Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure the scalability and efficiency of our data center environment.

● Monitor and optimize the performance of data center infrastructure components to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and business requirements.

● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with cross- functional teams as needed.

● Implement and maintain security measures to protect data center assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

● Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal impact on ongoing operations.

● Document configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

● Stay abreast of the latest developments in data center technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.

● Utilize AutoCAD design experience to create detailed technical drawings and models for data center layouts and infrastructure components.

Requirements:

● Strong knowledge of data center architecture along with the minimum design requirements for a network, compute, and storage racks as well as layers 2/3 and virtualization platforms

● Proven experience in a colocation, inside plant, or telecommunications facilities engineer or similar role in a large-scale data center or telecom environment.

● Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices in data centers and colocation facilities.

● Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure as well as cloud-native applications, preferably with demonstrable experience in helping scale the overall global footprint of a geographically diverse production network

● Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP, Autodesk Certified Professional) would be a plus.

● Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts and infrastructure components.
