Responsibilities:

The Underwater Sonar Field Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support of underwater sonar and acoustic sensor systems deployed at sites. The role requires strong hands-on technical capability in sonar, underwater acoustics, electronics, and system integration, with the ability to operate independently in challenging field environments. Duration: Yearly Renewable Contract (Convertible)

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain application systems and related infrastructure

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for application incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; implement optimizations as needed

• Collaborate with software developers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for system integration and enhancements

• Manage application releases, patches, upgrades, and configuration changes

• Ensure system security, compliance, and data integrity standards are maintained

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operating procedures

• Automate routine processes and workflows to improve efficiency

• Participate in system testing, including SIT/UAT, and support deployment activities

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to recommend improvements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application systems engineering, application support, or similar roles

• Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, and API frameworks

• Hands-on experience with application servers such as Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Microsoft IIS

• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, or Shell scripting

• Solid experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and MySQL, including writing complex queries

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automation tools such as Jenkins

• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management

• Exposure to modern technologies such as containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture is an advantage

• Familiarity with system monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Dynatrace

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, ITIL, or related technologies are preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks

• Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues

• Perform Level 2/Level 3 troubleshooting for network incidents and outages

• Implement network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems

• Support network architecture planning and scalability for future business needs

• Manage network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates

• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and optimize services

• Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs

• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements

• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network systems

• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support when required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or related roles

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent are preferred

• Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP

• Hands-on experience with enterprise network devices and technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, and Aruba Networks

• Proven experience in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and implementing network security best practices

• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG Network Monitor, Nagios, and Zabbix

• Experience with wireless networking technologies (WLAN, Wi-Fi standards) and troubleshooting

• Exposure to cloud networking concepts on platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible will be an advantage

• Experience with modern networking technologies such as SD-WAN, network virtualization, and Zero Trust architecture is a plus

• Knowledge of data center networking, high availability design, and system resilience

Software Engineer (PLC Programming)

• Working days: Monday - Friday 830am to 530pm
• Location : Ang Mo Kio Techplace
• Salary: $4,000 - $6,000

Job Responsibilities

• Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop high-quality, maintainable software meeting user requirements
• Draft functional and detailed design specifications
• Interpret client requirements, identify design parameters, and ensure solutions are delivered accurately within budget and timeline
• Participate in control system requirement analysis
• Design and update electrical schematics drawings
• Source and select electrical components, prepare and issue BOM
• Perform PLC & HMI programming, system implementation, testing, and debugging
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet project requirements and schedules
• Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Analyze existing software and propose improvements
• Ensure timely resolution of software and electrical issues
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support at customer sites

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation / semiconductor industry
• Strong PLC & HMI programming skills (preferably Omron, Mitsubishi, Proface)
• Programming skills in Motion Control, Analog, PIDs, Process Control.Motion Control, Analog, PID, Process Control (added advantage to have)
• Knowledge of high-end fieldbus communication (eg. Modbus, EtherCAT, EIP) is an advantage
