Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),End-to-End Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Validate banking and wealth management workflows, transactions, and system integrations.
• Perform API and interface testing to ensure seamless integration between applications.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement workshops, impact assessments, and solution review sessions.
• Prepare test plans, test reports, and testing documentation in accordance with project standards.
• Support release activities and ensure successful deployment of system enhancements.
• Conduct functional walkthroughs, knowledge transfer sessions, and user training where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and testing best practices.
• Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and testing status reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Strong experience in SIT, UAT, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing.

• Hands-on experience with banking, financial services, or wealth management applications.

• Exposure to Avaloq or similar core banking platforms is highly preferred.

• Experience in API testing, integration testing, and defect management.

• Strong understanding in Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TFS, or similar platforms.

• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and assess system impacts.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience facilitating workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions.

YOUR NEW JOB

As a Network Service Engineer, you'll support a large-scale government network environment, ensuring the availability, performance, security, and compliance of critical infrastructure. You'll be involved in network operations, incident resolution, security management, patching, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
This is a 12-month contract role (renewable), supporting a new long-term government project . Work will be onsite, Mon – Fri office hours.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues
• Perform root cause analysis and support SLA-driven incident management
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers across the environment
• Support firewall policy reviews, security monitoring, and compliance activities
• Execute patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle upgrades
• Support change management, release activities, and rollback planning
• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, CMDB records, and operational reports
• Perform capacity monitoring, trend analysis, and infrastructure health checks
• Participate in standby support and after-hours maintenance when required

WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU

• 2–6 years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
• Experience supporting enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and change management
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support
• Eligibility for government security clearance
• Open to occasional overtime

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT

• Experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, or F5 technologies
