Job Description:
The successful candidate will support the work and coordination of Handbook Review administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Segregate handbook content across various academic departments and further categorises it based on course requirements in preparation for the annual handbook review.
- Updates relevant course synopses with approved content from Board of Studies (BOS) papers to ensure alignment with current curriculum standards.
- Develops and maintains a tracking document to record all changes made by faculty and MSO staff, allowing the Reviewing Officer (RO) and Head of Department (HOD) to easily reference updates.
- Coordinates with faculty and EO representatives to review and update segregated content, including dormant courses, during the handbook review period.
- Collates and validates all returned updates to confirm accuracy and determine whether BOS paper submissions are required.
- Compiles reviewed materials into a draft copy and ensures formatting consistency across departments.
- Submits the draft for vetting by the RO and subsequent approval by the HOD.
- Prepares the final softcopy of the handbook for publication on the institutional website.
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned to support the department’s academic operations and documentation processes.
Requirements:
- Able to commit for 2-months with no leave
- No working experience needed but must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive)
- Min. educational requirement: O Level
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and produce quality results with attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with admin staff and faculty members
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
