The primary objective of this role is responsible fordeveloping and executing sourcing strategies and strategically managingsourcing activities for IT transformation projects and standard productselection.

Key Responsibilities

IT Procurement Process Setup:

Design and implement end-to-end IT procurement processes.

Align procurement workflows with internal controls andgovernance needs.

Continuously improve procedures to increase efficiency andcompliance.

IT Transformation Project Sourcing:

Lead sourcing for major IT transformation and strategicinitiatives.

Engage early with stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies.

Standard IT Product Selection:

Collaborate with IT teams and define standardised ITproducts and services catalogue.

Streamline sourcing to preferred vendors for core ITsolutions.

Lead Cost Saving Initiatives via Spend Analysis:

Lead analysis of spend data to identify savings andconsolidation opportunities.

Experience:

•        Minimum 8 ~12 years of experience in IT procurement, with a strong track record in thebanking or financial services sector.

•        Deepunderstanding of the banking technology vendor ecosystem, including commercialstructures, licensing models, renewal cycles, and key supplier capabilities.

•        Extensiveexperience sourcing across multiple IT categories, including software(on-premises and SaaS), infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), and IT services.

•        Familiar withAsia-Pacific procurement-related regulations and compliance considerations.

•        Provenability to design and implement procurement strategies, processes, andgovernance frameworks from the ground up.

•        Experienceleading large-scale sourcing initiatives, handling CAPEX and OPEX, liasing withlarge vendors for transformation programmes, product standardisation, and costoptimisation.

•        Skilled inspend analysis, vendor negotiations, and implementing supplier performance andrisk management frameworks.

Qualifications & Certifications:

Role description

The Programme Manager role is responsible for overseeing and managing the controlled implementation of a number of connected projects related to Business & Functional Applications. This role provides leadership and guidance to the delivery team to ensure the successful project delivery across the region. The Programme Manager is a champion for the adoption of industry standard procedures, tools and techniques which ensure that the projects within his or her scope are well set up and structured to establish probability of full scope delivery, on time and within the defined cost and quality parameters agreed with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•       Project Leadership

•       Develop and execute assigned projects with clear purpose and success criteria in alignment with organisation goals and priorities:

•       Identify the project stakeholders and their roles and communication requirements throughout the project lifecycle

•       Lead the delivery team (comprising direct and indirect reports) across the various components of the programme

•       Analyse and define project schedules to understand and explain the critical path, and optimise delivery timeframes;

•       Establish and align project budgets ensuring all dependencies are accounted for and cost categories are correctly assigned;

•       Establish resource plans matching required expertise and capacity to internal and vendor resources;

•       Establish and manage project risk and escalation processes to ensure early detection and mitigation planning for risks relating to schedule, cost and scope;
