Overview

NES Fircroft is partnering with a leading engineering organisation to hire a Senior Manager, Process to support a large-scale infrastructure project involving Balance of Plant (BOP), water and wastewater systems, and mechanical systems.

This role will play a key part in engineering design management, commercial coordination, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Management

• Support the Project Leadership team in managing BOP design activities across water, wastewater, and plant systems
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project, regulatory, and operational requirements
• Review engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, functional descriptions, and design documentation
• Oversee preparation of Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and documentation

Financial Management & Reporting

• Monitor and control project expenditure to align with approved budgets
• Review and assess variation orders and cost impacts

Operations, Testing & Commissioning

• Support development of Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) documentation
• Coordinate with operations teams on plant readiness, handover, and O&M requirements
• Review and support preparation of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation and as-built records

Compliance & Stakeholder Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements
• Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, authorities, consultants, and auditors
• Identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance, recommending mitigation strategies
• Maintain strong working relationships with key project stakeholders

Administration & Governance

• Support preparation of management reports, presentations, and project documentation
• Review and validate procurement and financial transactions within internal systems

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in process engineering within EPC / infrastructure / industrial projects
• Strong experience in:Wastewater / water treatment systems (WWTP, WTP)Balance of Plant (BOP) or plant utility systemsProcess design (PFD, P&ID, calculations, FEED / detailed engineering)

Engineering Manager
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a team of design engineers in the design and development of semiconductor equipment from module to machine conceptualization
• Carries out CIP programs to extend product life cycle, enhance product competitiveness, improve gross margins 
• Reliability & feasibility tests and verifications
• Support Technical Sales in specs review, costing and product evaluation
• Resolve all technical field issues within the Product family
• Responsible for product performance on site.
• Reviewing Sales enquiries and Service enquiries
• Design & drawing reviews
• Attend project meetings & provide constructive feedback
• Field & customer design issues complaints investigations
• Assisting MSPL SG and China MFG BOM, drawings, documentation and other issues
• Responsible for mechanical issues for sorters, laser mark and scan products after official handover to Product group by R&D group
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor due to business needs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree /Master in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Years of working experience in automation machines design
• Strong technical background in semiconductor related equipment development involving ultra-high precision, high speed mechanisms
• Possess good technical drawing skills using either Creo/SolidWorks
• Knowledge in semiconductor packaging and assembly processes
• Experienced as a Technical leader with good project management skills 
• Excellent systematic problem-solving ability using 8D report, Ishikawa, DIVE or other tools
• Good leadership abilities and able to coach, motivate & guide direct reports including conflict resolution

• Oversee, manage, and supervise Company’s in-house and external Contractors for all mechanical maintenance works related to planning and execution of:
• (a) daily maintenance [preventive, corrective, & breakdown maintenance],
• (b) transition maintenance,
• (c) turnaround maintenance and
• (d) upgrading and improvement related to maintenance
• Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out in accordance to the Company’s HSEQ Standards & Maintenance Management System, statutory requirements and best industry practices.
• Establish, continually improve & execute Company’s maintenance management system in a safe, efficient, and effective way to achieve highest equipment reliability & availability objective.
• Update and maintain accurate maintenance records in order to provide good maintenance history for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/ system defect and take appropriate preventive/ corrective measures.
• Optimize & manage mechanical maintenance inventory level of critical & non-critical equipment spare parts.

Process Engineering Assistant (MNC Electronic Assembly)

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Process Engineering Assistant to join a New Product Introduction (NPI) team in a leading MNC electronics manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth transition of new products into production in accordance with established development standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing facility in line with Common Product Development (CPD) processes
• Work closely with Industrialization Process Engineers to optimise product and process design for manufacturability
• Assist in developing and implementing manufacturing layouts, processes, and related documentation
• Support execution of prototype and pilot build activities
• Support SMT and backend manufacturing processes, including testing activities
• Assist in programming Universal SMT equipment for prototype processing
• Set up and calibrate equipment for prototype builds, including SPI, SMT, Reflow, Wave Soldering, and Routing processes

Requirements

• Diploma or ITE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• 2–3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing/assembly is an advantage
• Good understanding of PCB design, SMT processes, test equipment, and machinery setup
• Familiarity with IPC standards and PCB design guidelines preferred
• Experience with CAMCAD tools is an added advantage
