Job Summary
Strong hands-on engineering lead for Credit Origination Hive in PE. This is #2 priority for the CTA program, and a strong engineering talent is required to drive the rebuild of credit mate legacy platform. The skillset requires is to complete overhaul and develop an inhouse solution in latest technology stack
The person will drive the solution design, architecture and execution of developing new credit mate UI aligned with CC wide Unified UI / UX strategy. This is a strategic role to provide overall technical leadership and direction encouraging innovation and improvement in the technology and data systems, processes and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Advice future technology capabilities and architecture design considering business objectives, technology strategy, trends and regulatory requirements
Business
• Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates.
• Understand and Recommend business flows and translate them to API Ecosystem

• The ability to interpret the Portfolio Key Risks, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures

• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Our Ideal Candidate
• 15+ years experience in Banking and Software Development
• Participates in development of multiple or large software products and estimates and monitors development costs based on functional and technical requirements.
• Must have advanced knowledge on hosting platforms like – Kubernetes/OpenShift/AWS EKS
• Contrasts advantages and drawbacks of different development languages and tools.
• Expertise in RDBMS solutions (Oracle, PostgreSQL) & NoSQL offerings (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc)
• Experience in distributed technologies e.g. Kafka, Apache MQ, RabbitMQ etc. will be added advantage
• Conducts walkthroughs and monitors effectiveness and quality of the development activities.
• Strong knowledge in application integration using Web Service (SOAP/REST/GRPC) or Messaging using JMS.
• Ability to design and build smart, scalable, reliable solutions with tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge about design patterns and development principles, microservices architecture
• Good hands-on Data structure and Algorithms.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java / Spring Boot / J2EE ecosystem
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture & API-first design
• Experience in full-stack engineering (UI frameworks + backend services + integration layers)
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing patterns
• Proficiency in cloud-native architecture (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Hands-on with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of observability (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• Understanding of data architecture (RDBMS, NoSQL, data pipelines)
• Experience with AI/ML integration and Agent-based systems
• Exposure to LLMs, automation, and AI-assisted SDLC delivery
