Job scope:

• Technical Skills:
  - Device Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair multi-symptom hardware and software issues on complex electro-medical devices.
  - Calibration & Preventive Maintenance (PM): Expertise in following strict biomedical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee device safety, compliance, and accuracy.
  - Network/ IT Integration: Understanding of hospital networking systems to ensure medical devices communicate seamlessly with electronic health records.

• Soft Skills:
  - Customer-Facing Communication: Must act as the face of service excellence, routinely interacting with doctors, nurses, and hospital biomedical teams.
  - High-Pressure Adaptability: Capacity to prioritise service effectively to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer is expected to perform the following technical support for semiconductor equipment at customer sites:

• Install, commission, calibrate and test automation machines with team members.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct spare parts replacement.
• Provide routine technical support and on-site production assistance to clients.
• Monitor machine performance and submit report and feedback timely.
• Ensure all service activities comply with Safety and Regulatory Standards.

Requirements

Main Role & Responsibilities

· Performs servicing and maintenance of equipment and system, installation of machinery

· Collects and monitors customer equipment performance indices and performs schedules preventive maintenance (PM) with customer when required
