Job Summary

Responsible for quantitative research and real-time monitoring of quantitative trading algorithms to support portfolio management and optimize trading performance.

Responsibilities

• Apply numerical analyses to extract actionable insights from real-time financial market data
• Identify and evaluate effective quantitative trading strategies to enhance portfolio returns
• Conduct research on risk management models to improve algorithmic trading robustness
• Perform technical and fundamental capital markets research to support strategy development
• Execute trading strategies as directed by Portfolio Managers with precision and timeliness
• Monitor algorithmic trading behavior to detect irregularities and ensure compliance with risk parameters
• Oversee the performance of algorithm risk management systems and recommend improvements
• Detect and report algorithm bugs to developers for timely resolution
• Prepare detailed performance data and reports to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments

The Real Estate Investment Analyst will provide data-driven insights and strategic analysis across the entire property lifecycle, supporting acquisition, development, operational performance, and divestment decisions. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Acquisition Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial modeling, market research, and scenario analysis to support acquisition decisions.
• Development Feasibility: Conduct cost-benefit and risk assessments for development projects, analyzing construction timelines, budgets, and projected returns.
• Operational Performance: Monitor and analyze property performance metrics, including occupancy rates, rental yields, and operating expenses, to optimize asset value.
• Marketing Data Analytics: Assess marketing campaign effectiveness, lead conversion rates, and tenant engagement data to inform leasing strategies and revenue growth.
• Portfolio Optimization: Identify underperforming assets and recommend strategies for improvement or divestment based on market trends and financial performance.
• Lifecycle Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports that provide senior stakeholders with actionable insights across acquisition, development, operations, and sale phases.
• Market Intelligence: Research macroeconomic trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting real estate investments.
• Data Governance: Ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of all data used for investment analysis and decision-making.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or market research (preferably in asset-heavy or construction industries).
• Proficiency in Excel and other data visualization platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Salary: $3400-$3600/month with bonuses
Contract till August 2025, extendable for 1 year

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and design questionnaires that are intuitive and respondent friendly.
• Conduct data cleaning and analysis to translate data into actionable analysis
• Support data requests using in-house statistical tools to prepare the data based on the various data points and cuts as required by line divisions or stakeholders.
• Management and review of survey databases and creation of data visualization platform
• Prepare the layout and proofreading of surveys in hardcopy and electronic formats.
• Programme of the online survey questionnaire in the in-house survey system.
• Test survey validations and rules in the electronic survey platform.
• Conduct random checks of data entered survey forms to ensure data accuracy.
• Perform desktop research on the internet for supplementary information.
• Monitor fieldwork completion rates to ensure timely fieldwork completion.
• Monitor the response rate of every ongoing survey to ensure good representation of the data collected from every sector.
• Update the weekly response rate and monitor the progress of the survey fieldwork.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned
