About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Tender Engineer to lead contract preparations, including quantity take-offs from drawings, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ), and coordination of complete tender submissions. Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications; identify scope gaps, risks, and clarifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in tendering/estimating for construction or engineering projects.

• Proficiency with estimating and measurement tools (e.g., AutoCAD/Revit for take-offs, Excel).

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (C&S / M&E) to join the dynamic team at Hong Poh Engineering Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates, budgeting, and cost control.

What you'll be doing

• BQ and quotation for the project.
• Source more quality Subcon and suppliers.
• Update supplier and Subcon's latest costing.
• Site visit and update project progress for each project.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers or Subcon for pricing samples, etc.
• Ability to source for supplies and quotation for tendering.
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.

1. Perekodan Inventori & Kawalan Pengeluaran
