Job Summary

The Building Supervisor (Environmental Cleaning) leads daily cleaning operations at assigned sites, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards. You will supervise teams, manage operations, and coordinate with clients to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily environmental cleaning operations to achieve consistent high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Inspect sites regularly to enforce hygiene and safety standards and identify improvement areas
• Manage and deploy cleaning staff efficiently to optimize workforce productivity and coverage
• Liaise proactively with clients to address feedback and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain accurate cleaning schedules, operational reports, and inventory records to support smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health (WSH), and environmental regulations at all times
• Respond to incidents swiftly and coordinate timely resolution to minimize disruption

Job Requirement

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cleaning supervision or facilities management.
• Prior experience in environmental cleaning operations preferred.
• Good leadership and team management skills.

Role Purpose
The Facilities and Property Executive supports the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day administrative and operations of the Sentosa Sensoryscape project. The role focuses on administrative coordination and on-site supervision of sub-contractors, including those engaged directly by Sentosa Development Corporation, acting in a Managing Agent (MA) support role to ensure service standards, site presentation, and compliance are consistently maintained.

In addition, the role involves coordinating with relevant stakeholders, including operations teams, event organizers, tenants, and government agencies, to support daily operations and special events effectively.

Working Hours

• Based on a 5.5-day work week subjected to operational requirements.
• Availability to work on weekend, public holiday, and after-hours support may be required to support Sentosa events, peak periods, or operational needs.
• Time-off or compensation arrangements shall be in accordance with company policy.
  Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative & Coordination Support

• Assist the Facilities Manager with daily administrative tasks related to facilities operations.
• Maintain records including service reports, inspection checklists, correspondence, permits, document updating and filing.
• Assist in processing purchase requisitions, invoices, petty cash documentation, and submissions to Finance.
• Support preparation of reports, schedules, minutes of meeting(s) and audit documentation as required.

2. Contractor Supervision (MA Support Role)

• Assist in overseeing sub-contractors’ performance, such as landscaping, cleaning, system maintenance etc., to ensure compliance with contractual scope and service standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor cleanliness, landscape, system conditions, and overall site presentation.
• Record observations, follow up on rectification works, and report non-compliance to the Facilities Manager.
• Monitor contractor attendance, manpower deployment, and operational efficiency.

3. Site Operations and Event Support

• Act as a point of contact for day-to-day site matters.
• Assist in handling service requests, feedback, and minor complaints from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support smooth site operations, including support for events.

4. Compliance, Safety & Standards

• Assist in ensuring contractors comply with site rules, safety requirements, and Sentosa standards.
• Support inspections, audits, and compliance checks (e.g. internal audits, client inspections).
• Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained for accountability and traceability.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in facilities, property, or site operations preferred.
• Experience in managing contractors (such as landscape and/or cleaning) and working in a Managing Agent (MA) environment is an advantage.
• Good administrative, communication, and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work on site and provide operational support during events and after office hours when required.
• Able to respond to site emergencies and operational needs outside of regular working hours

We are seeking a hands-on Landscape & Arboriculture Manager to support our Facilities Management operations. This role oversees landscape maintenance, tree management, and external environment services, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality site operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations teams, contractors, and client representatives to maintain a safe and well-managed outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead tree management programmes, including inspections, risk assessment, and remedial works

• Oversee landscape maintenance to meet operational and aesthetic standards

• Manage contractors and ensure delivery of works in compliance with NParks and WSH requirements

• Support site inspections, audits, and client engagement

• Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of landscape operations

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Arboriculture, Horticulture, Landscape or related field

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in FM or large-site operations

• ISA Certified Arborist (preferred) or strong equivalent experience

• Proven experience managing contractors and site operations

• Familiar with Singapore regulatory requirements (NParks, WSH)

Key Responsibilities:

Tenancy Management

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure tenanted areas are well maintained.
• Process tenancy applications, fit-out submissions, and related documentation.
• Coordinate and supervise renovation works, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Manage handover and reinstatement processes at the start and end of tenancy periods.
• Collect administrative fees and deposits where applicable.
• Coordinate bookings of shared spaces and liaise with stakeholders on usage requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-tenancy surveys and manage reinstatement works when necessary.
• Facilitate regulatory liaison when mobility devices or vehicles are used on public/shared paths.

Event Supervision

• Coordinate the handover and return of premises for event usage.
• Conduct pre- and post-event condition inspections and document findings.
• Monitor event set-up, teardown, and operations to prevent damage or non-compliance.
• Oversee site cleanliness and respond promptly to spills or track incidents.
• Support temporary power usage logistics, including meter reading and reporting.
• Remain contactable during event hours, including after-hours, weekends, and public holidays, to resolve on-site issues.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Property & Facilities Management

Oversee daily operations and maintenance of public spaces, common areas, and facilities to ensure serviceability and safety standards are met.

Coordinate and supervise term contractors and service providers for maintenance, conservancy, and ad-hoc works.

Manage the permit-to-work system and ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements.

Attend to emergency repairs, breakdowns, and troubleshooting, and provide on-site technical support when required.

Public Spaces & Events Support

Manage bookings, setup, and reinstatement of public spaces for events, activations, and community programmes.

Coordinate with event organisers, tenants, internal teams, and external agencies to support smooth execution of events.

Ensure events comply with safety, operational, and regulatory requirements, including crowd management and asset protection.

Conduct site inspections before and after events and follow up on rectification works where necessary.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

Act as a coordination point between managing agents, contractors, tenants, event organisers, and authorities.

Attend to feedback, enquiries, and complaints from tenants and members of the public in a timely and professional manner.

Monitor tenancy and licence compliance within public spaces and report infringements when necessary.

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

Support compliance with relevant statutory, safety, and operational requirements.

Assist in inspections, audits, surveys, and reporting as required by management or clients.

Maintain proper documentation, records, and reports related to maintenance works, events, and incidents.

Adhoc Duties
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Account Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Diploma in Building, Facilities Management, Property Management, or related discipline from a recognised institution.

Experience:

At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in:

Management of public spaces, common areas, or community facilities

Supporting or coordinating events, activations, or public programmes

Property, facilities, or estate management environments

Skills & Competencies

Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Able to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on operational capability.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and contractor management is an advantage.
