Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Monitor project expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and produce progress reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage contracts and procurement, including negotiating with contractors and suppliers to ensure value for money.
• Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and cost value reconciliations to maintain project efficiency.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, site managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth execution.
• Carry out any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a related construction/cost management role.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor or construction industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Role: Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Salary: $4,000 - $5,000 + VB + Allowances

Working hours: MON- FRI

Location: West

Key responsibilities:

• Supports both pre and post-contract administration across assigned projects.

• Reviews specifications, performs quantity take-offs, prepares cost estimates, and coordinates with relevant stakeholders.

• Ensures compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout project execution.

• Works closely with project teams while maintaining effective collaboration with internal and external parties.

• Assists in managing and resolving commercial and contractual matters.

• Oversees procurement processes, ensuring cost control and budget alignment.

• Handles contract administration and maintains accurate project documentation.

• Prepares and manages progress claims, valuations, and final accounts.

• Participates in site visits and project meetings as required.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering or construction-related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or commercial roles within project environments.

• Exposure to both pre and post-contract functions.

• Experience in handling LTA projects will be an added advantage
