The Architect shall:

a. act as the Lead Consultant and overall design lead for the Project;

b. be the Qualified Person (Architectural), where required;

c. obtain and review client’s requirements, the Project brief, available drawings, records and other existing site and building information relevant to the Project;

d. coordinate and integrate the design inputs of the C&S Engineer, M&E Engineer, QS and any other specialist consultants appointed for the Project;

e. lead design development, design reviews, stakeholder workshops, risk reviews and value engineering exercises;

f. liaise with the relevant statutory authorities for planning, building and other approvals;

g. prepare, manage and update the overall master programme for the Project in consultation with client and the other Consultants;

h. convene, chair and record consultant coordination meetings, technical meetings and progress meetings;

i. administer the Building Contract, issue Architect’s Instructions and carry out all duties customarily performed by the Architect under the Building Contract; and

j. prepare regular progress reports to client on programme, design, authority submissions, procurement and implementation status.

Our partner, a Global Infocom company who has strategic relationships with leading AI Firms are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead architecture design and delivery for strategic customer programs. You will guide technical teams, drive innovation, lead proof-of-concepts, and support presales to enhance and modernize customer systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of end-to-end solution architectures aligned with industry best practices and customer requirements
• Review and guide architectural and technical decisions by technical leads and development teams to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms for bespoke and enterprise system development
• Address non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, and maintainability in all designs
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, DevOps, and operations to ensure seamless solution delivery
• Develop and maintain architectural artefacts such as high-level design documents, technical roadmaps, and integration blueprints

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ software development experience including at least 3 years in solution or software architecture roles
• Proven experience designing and delivering architectures for bespoke systems and cloud-native applications
• In-depth knowledge of architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Solid understanding of software engineering practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and modern application lifecycle management
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in presales or customer-facing roles supporting business development

1. Architecture & Platform (Frameworks)

• Design an orchestration platform enabling consistent use of LLMs (invocation, routing, retries, fallbacks, caching, batching, cost controls).
• Create reusable libraries/SDKs for prompts, tools (LangChain Tools / SK Functions), memory, evaluators, tracing, and policy enforcement.
• Establish standards for prompt management & versioning, evaluation harnesses, and model lifecycle governance (routing, rollback, deprecation).
• Define reference architectures for common patterns: chat + RAG, structured output, tool-enabled agents, doc intelligence, and workflow automation.

2. Agentic Patterns & Tooling

• Implement robust multi-agent patterns (planner/executor, supervisor/worker, critic/reviewer, self-reflective loops).
• Build tool-use integrations for APIs, databases, web search, code execution, internal services; ensure idempotent contracts and safe tool invocation.
• Design long-horizon planning with memory, state persistence, and interruption/resume semantics.

3. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Architect RAG pipelines with hybrid search, chunking, metadata filtering, re-ranking, and retrieval routing.
• Integrate vector search (e.g., Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and document preprocessing (parsing, dedup, PII scrubbing, quality gates).
• Measure and improve factual grounding (hallucination reduction, answerability, coverage

Implement guardrails (prompt injection defense, output filtering, jailbreak detection, PII redaction, policy checks).
Enforce RBAC, secrets management, audit logs, and data governance aligned with organizational policies (e.g., PDPA/MAS TRM/GDPR where applicable).
Build human-in-the-loop (HITL) mechanisms for review, escalation, and feedback capture.

5. Reliability, Observability & Cost

• Set SLOs/SLA for latency, reliability, and cost-per-task; design token accounting and budget caps.
