Role Summary 

The R2R Senior Analyst – Lease is accountable for technical judgement and policy guidance across lease accounting under IFRS 16 / ASC 842, acting as a quality checkpoint between lease preparation and tower-level close governance.

The Client Incentive Operations team are responsible for managing Client Incentive and Merchant Acceptance Incentive agreements.  We ensure compliance with contractual terms and determine the accounting treatment of each incentive deal and conformity with US GAAP.  We use lean/six sigma process methodologies to provide benefits to our stakeholders regarding quality, cost and schedule associated with our work.  This role is to support operations of client incentive teams from all regions worldwide.
 Essential Functions:

• Manage Incentive contracts for all regions
• Analyze newly executed incentive contract terms to assess Visa contractual obligations and determine appropriate accounting treatment based on Visa policy and procedure
• Review proforma to ensure accuracy of contract interpretation and application of Visa's accounting policy respectively
• Setup incentive contracts in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system per contract terms, ensuring that all key obligations have been accurately addressed. Ensure consistencies in the process especially those to accommodate system limitation 
• Manage, track, and process contractual payments per terms of contracts accurately and timely for all regions, perform peer reviews and approvals on payments and new contract setups

Key Tasks:

A. Resolution / reduction of invoicing exceptions:

• Participate in weekly conference calls with Schenker countries and billing control tower
• Monitor countries’ invoice fallouts through weekly reports from pre-audit company, identify root cause and provide guidance on the resolution of billing exceptions
• Consolidate country feedback on exceptions / weekly SOAs if required
• Support countries with transmission failures in eBill
• Trouble-shoot technical issues with IT and recommend remedial action

• Initiative and maturity to work independently

• Proficient in English both oral and written is preferred

• Proficient in IT and Microsoft office applications especially excel.  Macros skills would be an advantage

Experiences & Qualification:

• Ability to co-ordinate with countries, monitor compliance and communicate clearly on regional initiatives.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the logistics / freight industry with finance background is an added advantage.
