What you'll be doing

This role sits within Singtel Group Internal Audit and is responsible for delivering risk‑based technology and cybersecurity audits across Singtel’s operations. The Manager, Group Internal Audit – Technology provides independent and objective assurance over the effectiveness of IT, cybersecurity, and technology‑enabled business controls, supporting Singtel’s corporate governance, risk management, and internal control framework.

The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting on technology audits covering information systems, digital platforms, infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity domains. The Manager works closely with senior management and technology stakeholders across Singtel to assess risk exposure, identify control weaknesses, and recommend pragmatic, value‑adding improvements. Audit outcomes contribute to management assurance, Audit Committee reporting, and regulatory disclosures.

Group Internal Audit reports functionally to the Singtel Group Audit Committee and administratively to senior management. The function plays a key role in safeguarding Singtel’s assets, reputation, and customer trust.

Make an Impact by

• Develop Audit Planning Memorandums (APMs) defining audit objectives, scope, risks, and audit approach for approval by the Audit Director.
• Execute risk‑based technology and cybersecurity audits in accordance with Group Internal Audit methodology and professional standards.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity controls, and technology governance processes.
• Perform detailed audit fieldwork including walkthroughs, control testing, system reviews, data analysis, and evidence evaluation.
• Evaluate technology solutions and systems under development to confirm appropriate governance, controls, documentation, and security‑by‑design principles.
• Assess the adequacy of cybersecurity controls protecting systems, networks, cloud platforms, and sensitive data.
• Review compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and Singtel policies (e.g. data protection, cybersecurity, technology risk management).
• Identify emerging technology and cyber risks and assess Singtel’s preparedness and control maturity.
• Identify control deficiencies and root causes, and develop practical, risk‑based recommendations to strengthen the control environment.
• Prepare clear, concise, and high‑quality audit reports, ensuring factual accuracy and agreement of findings with management prior to finalisation.
• Communicate audit outcomes effectively to senior management and contribute to Audit Committee reporting where required.

Skills for Success

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in technology audit, IT risk, cybersecurity, or internal audit (Big 4 or large corporate environment preferred).

What You'll Do

• Efficient execution and management of audit projects according to the risk-based Internal Audit Plan.
• Conduct independent and objective assessments of internal controls, risk management, governance processes, financial results, compliance requirements, and other corporate processes etc.

• Plan and execute review and testing related to internal controls and risk management procedures.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines.
• Knowledge in other field such as IT, Engineering is an advantage.
• Holders of CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE or other relevant professional.
• A minimum of 7 years of internal audit experience, preferably in manufacturing, chemical industry or commodity trading.
• Good understanding of internal control concepts and risk management (COSO, COBIT, etc).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong interpersonal and collaboration, communication skills.
• Analytical, result-oriented and attention to detail.

Job Summary

Manage full-set accounting and administrative functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth office operations supporting ERI Group’s compliance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage full set of company accounts including accounts payable (AP), accounts ledger (AL), and general ledger (GL) to ensure accurate month-end closings
• Compile and submit quarterly GST returns for ESS & EAS and prepare annual tax filings in compliance with IRAS regulations
• Monitor supplier invoices, verify payment status, and maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems
• Perform invoicing data analysis, inspect bank transactions, manage intercompany transactions, and conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Execute general administrative duties including managing office correspondence, courier handling, scanning, data entry, and office rental coordination by liaising with management and landlords
• Verify and process employee claims for disbursement to ensure compliance with company policies
• Calculate and prepare CPF contributions and payroll including commissions for staff to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement
• Maintain HR documents including recruitment records, staff files, attendance sheets, and leave records to support workforce management
• Arrange meetings, events, and visitor reception with registration to facilitate smooth office operations
• Manage work pass applications and renewals (Employment Pass, Dependent Pass, S Pass, Work Permit) for staff as required, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations
• Perform additional tasks as authorized by the General Manager to support business operations

Responsibilities

• Monitor the implementation status of internal audit recommendations by engaging process owners and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
• Conduct internal control assessments and reviews for assigned projects or business initiatives.
• Maintain and update Group policies, SOPs, and procedure manuals to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational needs before circulation.
• Ensure the organisation adheres to regulatory and statutory requirements, including guidelines set by relevant authorities.
• Lead the Group’s Business Continuity Management initiatives, including reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Oversee the enterprise risk framework, maintain the Group’s risk register, and prepare annual risk reports, including inputs for the Sustainability Report.
• Coordinate and review annual Internal Control Self-Assessment submissions from various business units globally.
• Partner with stakeholders across real estate, hospitality, and investment divisions to strengthen internal controls and promote a robust risk-aware culture.

Requirements:

• Possess at least an Degree in Accountancy/ACCA; CA or CIA certification
• At least 5 years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk management, or compliance—ideally within real estate, property development, or hospitality.
• Strong background in Big 4 audit and commercial internal audit or internal controls roles.
• Independent, meticulous, and discreet, with strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to draft policies and manage risk registers effectively.
