Roles & Responsibilities

This position will encompass both Accounts payable and receivable functions. 

As Accounting Officer, your overall objective will be to work with the finance team with primarily responsible being day to day execution and management of AP and AR portfolio in the department.

The main responsibility will involve the following scope:

-Manage AP and foreign currency payments.

-Manage AR and credit control.

-General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.

-Liaising with operations and other departments to gather financial information and to enter these information into operational and finance system.

Accounts Receivable Executive – Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including customer invoicing, payment monitoring, and collection activities.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize bad debts.

Accounts Executive

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including customer invoicing, payment collection follow-ups, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP)functions, including processing supplier invoices, payment preparation, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper recording of daily financial transactions.

JOB PURPOSE: (Role Summary)

b. Expenses review (recording in Accounting systems, verification with policies, documentation and

approvals review, etc.).

c. Salary (including yearly bonus) and reimbursement processing, verification and approval from

2. Petty Cash management

3. Supporting in closure of pending Sales orders, invoicing, documentation required thereof.

4. Bank statement and bank reconciliation review.

5. Ledger Scrutiny and reconciliation on monthly basis.

6. Making entries in Accounting Software.

7. Preparation of statements and workings as per internal and external requirements.

8. Supporting in Audit

Statutory compliances

9. Annual Compliance management with statutory requirements (including applicable laws, Insurance, safety

-Degree/ACCA/Diploma in Accounting

-1-5 years experiences (Preferably in CPA firm) is a plus

-Knowledge of Singapore Corporate tax, individual tax and GST

-Knowledge in MYOB and Xero is a plus

-Client focused wiht good communication and people skills

-Systematic, analytical and throught to work with a sense of accountability, integrity and discretion.

Overview

Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals.  This team is responsible for providing a differentiated Customer experience for our customers, deliver Win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leaders, maximizing Customer spend, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption). Delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.   

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive Transformation in partnership with our most Strategic customers with a focus on AI, Copilot and Security to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes. Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.

Responsibilities

• Customer Advocate – Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met. 
• Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.
• Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
• Industry Relevant Trusted Seller – Proactively develops a strong understanding of the customer’s business, industry priorities to drive new business opportunities/ drive growth/net new business. 
• Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
• Deliver Sales Excellence – Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams across our solution areas to consistently achieve growth in revenue & market share.
• Industry Knowledge – Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions.   Gains deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations.

• 7+ years experience in working in an industry (e.g. Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Engineering), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (e.g. Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Engineering ), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 4+ years experience working in an industry (e.g. Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Engineering ), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)OR equivalent experience

Job Description:

· Issue of tax invoices for progress billings to clients, back charges to subcontractors and inter-company billings.

· Perform data entry of AR invoices and receipts into system.

·Reconciliation of inter-company transactions and balances.

· Validation of AP (subcontractors and suppliers) invoices, petty cash claims and staff claims.

· Checking of input tax claims.

· Perform data entry of AP invoices into system.

·Reconciliation of AP to suppliers’ statement of account.

·Prepare cheques / online banking (online fund transfer, telegraphic transfer, etc).

· Update bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliation.

· Prepare recurring / period end closing journal entries.

· Prepare balance sheet schedules.

·Maintain fixed assets register and calculate depreciation charge.

· Support quarterly GST returns.

· Prepare audit schedules, confirmations & reconciliations.

·Prepare tax schedules.

·Support GST Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) / GST audit.

Job Requirements:
· A Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
