Responsibilities:
Execute MRP-driven procurement by issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and RFQs to suppliers
Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers on purchasing matters and shipment tracking
Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning activities
Ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery across all procurement functions
Source and evaluate suppliers through market research and capability assessment
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times to achieve optimal outcomes
Manage and monitor Engineering Changes (EC) effectively
Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production needs
Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels
Analyze complex data to support decision-making and problem-solving
Determine appropriate methods and lead initiatives for new assignments
Prepare and present procurement reports and insights to management
Drive continuous improvements in purchasing systems and processes
Support team coordination and perform ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in an MNC manufacturing environment
Proficient in MS Office applications
Familiar with SAP, Oracle, Syspro, Baan, or other MRP/ERP systems
Resourceful and detail-oriented with strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Able to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player
