The GEMs Lab at NUS is seeking a few highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to work on the CVD growth two-dimensional (2D) materials. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-quality synthesis techniques for 2D materials and their integration into next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices. Here, we are looking for a Research Associate to prepare and characterize 2D ferroelectric materials and devices. The role will focus on the preparation and fundamental characterization of 2D ferroelectric materials to promote the development and application of 2D ferroelectric devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Characterize the 2D ferroelectric polarization with various methods, such as PFM and P-E loop test.

• Design, fabricate and test devices based on 2D ferroelectric materials.

• Confirm the polarization switch with electrical pulses.

• Demonstrate reconfigurable photoresponsivity.

• Demonstrate neuromorphic computing with fabricated devices.

• Collect and analyze the results.

• Draft manuscript and project reports based on the results
