About the Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP)

Optimizing the performance of health systems is essential to ensuring the wellbeing and longevity of populations worldwide. Singapore is particularly well placed to lead research in this field as its health system has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world based in independent evaluation with the Global Burden of Disease data. The Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) aims to advance research in this area within the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the leading centre for research in health systems in Asia with the following core functions:

1. Research: empirical and methodological research and evidence synthesis on health systems performance with a particular focus on Value Based Healthcare.
2. Health policy intelligence: health policy impact analysis aimed at policy makers, service providers, researchers, and the wider public.
3. Capacity building: formal postgraduate programme (from certificates to PhD), fellowships,  mentoring, on-the- job and ad hoc training
4. Contributing to improving NUHS performance: expert advice on the development, implementation, and evaluation of flagship initiatives (including Healthier SG) aimed at making step changes in NUHS performance, and programme evaluation

•    A PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). The candidate will conduct research on AI-driven drug discovery, with a focus on target-guided molecular generation, protein–ligand interaction modeling, molecular property prediction, and structure-based design of small molecules and peptides. The appointee will develop and evaluate deep learning models, integrate molecular representations with protein structural information, perform computational screening and benchmarking, prepare manuscripts, and contribute to collaborative research projects within the lab.

Qualifications:

PhD in computer science, informatics, pharmacy, computational biology, medicinal chemistry, or a closely related field. Strong experience in deep learning, molecular property prediction, drug–target affinity prediction, virtual screening, molecular docking, and structure-based drug discovery. Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch is required. Experience with RDKit, Schrödinger, AutoDock Vina, AMBER, molecular simulation, Linux/HPC workflows, and AI-driven drug discovery platforms is highly desirable.

Assistant to general manager

• Assist with schedule arrangement, meeting coordination, task reminders and follow-up on key assignments.
• Prepare meeting documents, project files, presentation materials and external communication contents as required.
• Facilitate information exchange between internal teams and external partners to guarantee accurate and efficient communication.
• Follow up on assigned tasks and drive their completion in line with scheduled deadlines.
• Prioritize critical matters to help improve overall work efficiency.

Human Resources and Team Support

• Take charge of recruiting local interns in Singapore, covering job posting, resume screening, candidate communication, interview arrangement and onboarding coordination.
• Assist in daily administrative support for regular employees and interns, such as pre-onboarding preparation, data compilation, internal communication and basic personnel administration.
• Support talent pooling and staffing for teams based in Singapore and Southeast Asia in line with the company’s development roadmap.
• Conduct research on Singapore’s local talent market to facilitate job design, compensation & benefits benchmarking and recruitment channel optimization.
• Back the prospective setup of Southeast Asian teams, including organizational structure planning, job requirement consolidation and local talent market research.
