A DAY IN LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

1. Capital & "Use of Proceeds" Tracking

• Capital  Deployment: Track the deployment of funds specifically earmarked for 3PC pograms.
• Network Cost Attribution: Develop models to ensure capital spend is correctly attributed to specific lanes or regional hubs (e.g., tracking the efficiency of "Use of Proceeds" in the Malaysia vs. Thailand expansion).
• Project Lifecycle : Monitor the ROI of invested capital throughout its lifecycle, from initial procurement to operational profitability.

2. Advanced Forecasting

• Scenario Planning: Model the impact of various scenarios incorporating macro, micro, current business trends (e.g: fluctuating fuel prices and cargo load factors on our long-term capital runway).
• Supporting Role: Assist the team on adhoc basis on internal (Board, Capital A, Investors etc) and external stakeholder (Bankers, consultants etcv) deck preparation, business reviews & forecasting meetings and maintenance of internal financial model  

3. Automation & Digital Transformation

• Automated Dashboards: Replace manual tracking with automated dashboards that pull data from our cargo management systems and ERP to show real-time "Capital Deployed vs. Budget."
• System Integration: Work with the Data/Tech teams to integrate financial KPIs into our internal logistics platform, ensuring "Use of Proceeds" data is available at a granular, per-flight, or per-hub level.
• Overall GP visibility: Overall firm wide initiative to create a unified view of GP profitability by business segment by carrier type and models

• Experience: 2-4 years in FP&A, ideally within Logistics, Airlines, FP&A or Supply Chain. Experience in a high-growth "LogTech" environment is a massive advantage.
• The "Use of Proceeds" Expert: You understand how to track investments made by external party, have a knack for understanding complex business but be able to see the big picture.

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support our Headquarters Procurement Department in managing procurement activities across global operations, with a primary focus on Southeast Asia. Responsibilities

About the role

This is a hands-on, people-facing internship at the front line of a new product launch. You'll be the person who finds neighbourhood shop owners, reaches out to them, and gets them interested enough to book a short product demo. The project lead runs the demos and handles the rest — your job is to build and work the pipeline that feeds them.

Because most of the shop owners we're approaching speak Mandarin or Chinese dialect, your ability to talk to them comfortably in their own language is the single most important part of this role.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of candidate merchants (minimarts, provision shops, neighbourhood stores) using online directories, maps, and business listings.

• System Design & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable systems, with Python-based services and microservices as the primary stack.

The Junior Compliance Analyst will be part of the Central Compliance Team, supporting all of Trade Nation’s regulated entities. This role is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), Compliance Surveillance activities, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls, and transaction monitoring processes. Compliance Monitoring Programme

• Support the design, execution, and documentation of compliance monitoring reviews and thematic testing across all regulated jurisdictions.
• Assist with scheduling, tracking, and closing out monitoring actions, ensuring findings are recorded accurately and escalated appropriately.
• Help prepare monitoring reports and management information (MI) for senior stakeholders.

AML, Financial Crime & Transaction Monitoring

• Conduct AML/CTF and KYC/CDD reviews, supporting the identification and escalation of financial crime risks.
• Assist with the review and investigation of transaction monitoring alerts, contributing to timely and well-reasoned disposals.
• Support the maintenance and refresh of AML-related policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

Compliance Surveillance

• Review and clear Compliance Surveillance alerts generated by the firm’s trade surveillance system (E-Flow), conducting timely, well-documented investigations and escalating alerts with potential market abuse indicators in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
• Maintain accurate alert disposition records, ensuring outcomes are logged with sufficient rationale to support audit trails and regulatory scrutiny.
• Support the preparation and delivery of Compliance Surveillance MI, including alert volumes, false positive rates, escalation metrics, and trend analysis, for reporting to senior management and relevant governance committees.
• Assist in the maintenance and periodic review of Compliance Surveillance procedures, escalation frameworks, and the firm’s Market Abuse Risk Assessment (MARA), ensuring documentation remains current and fit for purpose.
• Contribute to periodic calibration and tuning reviews of surveillance alert parameters, helping to identify opportunities to reduce false positives and improve overall detection effectiveness.

Central Compliance Support

• Act as a point of coordination for Compliance Heads across jurisdictions, managing information requests, evidence gathering, and regulatory correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance registers, logs, and tracking tools.
• Support internal and regulatory reporting cycles, including the preparation of MI packs and audit-ready documentation.
• Keep abreast of relevant regulatory developments and assist in assessing the impact of rule changes on the business.
