Job Summary

The Director of Finance is responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity, stability and performance of COMO Hotels and Resorts. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, drives financial planning and analysis, strengthens internal controls, oversees treasury and cash flow management, and partners with hotel operations to improve profitability and business performance.

Working closely with Property Financial Controllers/Director of Finance, General Managers and Corporate Leadership, the Director of Finance provides strategic financial guidance and operational support to achieve the Group’s financial objectives. The position acts as a deputy to the Vice President Finance on key financial and operational matters, supports hotel openings and corporate initiatives, and drives finance process improvements to promote consistency, compliance and operational excellence across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting, Accounting & Consolidation

• Oversee the preparation, review and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all properties, subsidiaries and corporate entities.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, company policies, statutory requirements and regulatory standards.

• Ensure implementation and consistent application of Group Finance Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and governance standards.

• Review corporate tax computations and tax filings and coordinate responses to tax authorities.

We are seeking a visionary Sales Director (West Malaysia) to spearhead and build a brand-new Direct Selling division for PRISM+ Malaysia. As a high-growth electronics leader, we are pivoting to include a direct-to-consumer networking model, and we need a heavy-hitter to build this ecosystem from the ground up.

This strategic leader will be responsible for architecting, recruiting, and scaling a high-performing direct selling force. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Summary:

The Area Director of Engineering Performance (ADEP) – APAC is a regional performance leadership role responsible for driving measurable outcomes in engineering, finance, asset reliability, and ESG across the APAC portfolio.

The role provides oversight, direction, and support for properties within the respective region. Working closely with the local property teams, the ADEP delivers on the established engineering, operational, and functional requirements and ESG goals.

The ADEP supports the Corporate Senior Director of Engineering Performance and the ESG team in developing engineering policies, procedures, and best practices, implementing new standards tailored to the specific region, managing and deploying new pilot initiatives, and providing guidance and oversight on residential reserve studies.

Professional Qualifications:

Position Overview: The Finance Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial, accounting, and HR functions of the organisation, ensuring fiscal health, regulatory compliance, and sound financial governance. Reporting to the CEO or equivalent and liaising with relevant Board members, the Finance Director plays a pivotal role in the Company’s financial management, resource allocation, and strategic financial planning. • Database Oversight: Maintain the donor management system to track historical donations and funding commitments.
• Receipting: Timely issuance of official donation receipts, ensuring compliance with tax-deductible status regulations where applicable.
• Tracking: Monitor how donations are allocated across various programs to ensure funding is utilized according to donor intent or grant conditions.
• Accountability: Prepare reports for stakeholders that demonstrate transparency in funding utilization, supporting the organization’s "clean" audit objectives.
• AML Screening: Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and "Know Your Donor" (KYD) checks for all contributions to mitigate reputational and legal risks.
• Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the Company Secretary to ensure all board resolutions, statutory filings, and governance checklists are aligned with current regulations.
• Audit Readiness: Ensure all donor-related documentation is organized and available for internal and external audits.

7. Grant Monitoring and KPI Alignment

• Outcome Tracking: Monitor program spending and activities to ensure they remain strictly within the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and milestones defined in the grant agreement.
• Variance Analysis: Regularly review utilization reports to identify potential under-spending or over-spending, providing early warnings to the CEO and Board.
• Compliance Framework: Ensure all grant-funded expenses adhere to the specific "allowable cost" guidelines set by the grantor.
• Audit Engagement: Coordinate and manage the Grant Audit process. This includes selecting/engaging auditors (where required), preparing the necessary schedules, and ensuring the audit is conducted according to the specific procedures mandated by the grantor.
• Regulatory Response: Act as the primary lead in handling technical queries or clarifications from the Grantors or Commissioner of Charity.
• Issue Resolution: Develop and implement management responses to any audit findings to ensure the organization remains in good standing for future funding cycles.

8. Data Protection Officer

• Policy Management: Developing and maintaining internal data protection policies (eg. Data retention, access control and breach response plans).
• Oversee in-house team of Secondary DPOs to ensure consistency in processes.
• Staff Education: Organising training sessions to ensure all employees understand their data protection obligations.
• Regulatory Liaison: Serving as the primary contact for data protection authorities during inquiries or audit.
• Public Requests: Managing Data Subject Access Request (DSARs) where individuals ask to see, correct, or delete the data the organization holds about them.

9. HR Function
