While this position encompasses the end-to-end project accounting function, expertise in Capital budgeting and forecasting is the cornerstone of the role. In this role, you won't just manage data; you will refine our forecasting and transform complex project information into a meaningful narrative that drives high-level decision-making and real impact across the organisation. 

What will you do:  

• Manage all project accounting activities, including monthly project journals, accruals, cost adjustments and reallocations, budget transfers, and project financial close  
• Coordinate and support day-to-day project-level financial transactions, including project setup, cost code maintenance, progress claim reconciliations, procurement support, and invoice payment workflow approvals  
• Maintain project master data across all relevant systems, including project codes, project-level cost codes, and associated general ledger accounts  
• Perform monthly reconciliation and reporting of actual project expenditure and commitments against approved project budgets  
• Lead monthly project budget reviews with Project Managers and provide expenditure reforecasts as inputs into month-end reporting processes  
• Prepare and deliver project-level capital expenditure forecasts as part of the annual corporate planning process  
• Collaborate with the Fixed Assets team to ensure work-in-progress balances are reconciled monthly and transferred to the Fixed Assets Register for timely depreciation  
• Partner with project delivery teams to establish and maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and governance requirements  
• Act as a key liaison between Finance and the business for project accounting matters, including capital expenditure forecasts for insurance premiums, Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) reporting, and internal and external audit requirements  
• Undertake other ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager

What a Senior Counsel in Legal does at Visa:

The position is for a seasoned business/commercial lawyer to join Visa's legal team that supports Visa's businesses responsible for our Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific markets including in the areas of sales contracts, corporate and commercial matters, technology, products, marketing and IP, and regulatory engagement. The position will report to the Senior Managing Counsel who is the head of Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific for Visa Legal in the Asia Pacific region. The applicant should ideally have experience in commercial business law and management and be able to draft robustly and to a high standard. The applicant must have solid technical legal skills with good commercial/legal risk judgment, and be able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast paced and challenging, but rewarding, environment.

• Prepare, update, own and execute the Go -To- Market Strategy for nominated industries
• Prepare, own, and maintain Territory Plan for agreed vertical

• Own the end-to-end sales process including demand generation, understating customer needs, agreeing a mutual evaluation process, owning the RFI/RFP process, building a business case for change and winning business, and utilising resources within a matrix organization to get the job done.
• Work with partners to better penetrate into your accounts, creating joint sales plays that accelerate deal cycles and maximize value while providing strong delivery plans that lead to happy referenceable customers
• 100% responsibility for owning the annual sales targets and delivering as per the quarterly budget
• Continued pipeline building and demand generation activities to achieve 4x pipeline coverage
• Liaison with Sales leadership and Global teams to build a strong internal network and collaboration
• Manage and maintain complete CRM and Account hygiene, at all times, along with sales cadence, administration and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting

The Contracts & Administration Executive supports contract administration and general administrative functions across the Residential portfolio, from project launch through to completion. The role also provides broader office and reception support, contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, issuing, processing and tracking residential contracts while managing shared contract inboxes.
• Maintaining accurate purchaser, project, compliance and documentation records.
• Assisting with deposits, contract milestones and liaison with solicitors on contract status.
• Supporting finance administration, including credit card reconciliations, invoicing and partner agent/insurance documentation.
• Providing general office, reception, travel‑booking and team coordination support.
• Assisting Operations Manager, Directors and broader team with ad hoc administrative and training tasks.
