We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Full-Time Sales Assistant cum Cashier to become a key member of our team!

Responsibilities:

Greet customers when approached by customers at the cashier counter.

Handles all payment transaction (Cash, Nets, etc.) using a Point-of-Sale system.

Scan the bar codes on the stocks.

Ensure right amount is in the cash register at all times.

Perform refunds to customer by following the company’s process and procedures.

Ensure end day and daily settlements are correctly done by following company’s procedures.

Perform packing of products purchased for customers at the cashier counter.

Assist in ordering goods and any other ad hoc task assigned.

Requirements:

No experience is required; all are welcome - On the job training offered

Able to work retail hours which may include weekends and PHs

Be comfortable with operating POS system and carrying heavy goods.

Prior experience in Retail is preferred

Seng Choon Farm is a pioneer egg farm in Singapore. Located in Lim Chu Kang Agro-technology park, the farm produces 220 million eggs annually.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Basic administration work (Filing, document sorting etc.)
• Data entry (Microsoft Excel)
• Checking, matching and verifying invoices
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Basic proficiency in computers
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Job description:

• Handle sales enqruires
• Handle customers’ complaints and feedback
• Maintenance of in-house display fish tanks eg. washing of tanks, changing of water, feeding etc.

• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Manage import and export documentation, including permits, AVA health certificate applications, packing lists and export invoices.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and other logistics partners to ensure smooth shipment operations.
• Assist with stock management and conduct inventory checks as required.
• Compile and report Greenhouse Gas (GHG) data to the Finance department.
• Provide support to other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
