Job Responsibilities:

· Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

· Provide emergency /  unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine plant shutdown

· Maintain mixers, extruders, conveyors, dryers, grinders, dust collectors, and resin‑handling systems used in phenolic compound production.

· Perform root‑cause analysis on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures affecting production.

· Calibrate sensors, maintain PLC‑controlled systems, and support automation troubleshooting.

· Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and materials handling equipment in performing duties

· Perform mechanic skillsincluding but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic,troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

· Detect faulty operations, defectives material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

·Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Higher-NITEC in any mechanical or electrical studies
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills; experience with extruders, grinders, and thermal systems.
• Good PC skills (Microsoft Words, Excel)
• Min of 2 years of experience in Plant operation environment
• Willing to work 8 &12 hours Shift (Morning & Night)

Job scope:

• Performing Installation & modification of electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of forklifts
• Troubleshooting electrical systems & wiring of electrical panels
• Understanding schematic diagram

• ITE/Diploma in any engineering related field
• Experience in hands on technical roles and able to read schematic diagram

2. Key responsibilities:

a. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC, chillers, pumps, fan coils, air handling units, and associated controls.

b. Inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems: distribution panels, lighting, wiring, circuit breakers and emergency power systems.

c. Respond to service requests and emergency breakdowns; diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.

d. Carry out routine mechanical works: pump seals, valves, lubrication, piping checks and minor fabrications.

e. Execute safety checks for emergency systems (fire pumps, generators, emergency lighting) and coordinate with contractors for major repairs.

f. Keep accurate maintenance records, parts inventory usage, and prepare work reports.

g. Follow permit-to-work, lockout/tagout and safe work procedures; maintain a clean, tidy work area.

• ITE Certificate in Mechatronic or Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
• Able to adapt and work under tight schedule
