ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

• Supervise and perform maintenance of marine electrical system/component in workshops and onboard vessels
• Perform electrical wiring, cabling and modification of electrical circuit.
• Dismantle and troubleshooting for Electrical and Control circuitry.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as Multimeter, Insulation tester and Process calibrator
• Participate in the repair of electrical components in workshop and onboard ships.
• Ensure work daily assigned are carried out effectively and productively to meet customer specifications and requirements
• Ensure safety, quality of work and meet delivery deadline
• Performs maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits
• Conducts insulation resistance measurements of electrical cables to determine condition and effects repairs or replacements as required
• Supervises and participate in the installation and/or alteration to electrical systems aboard ships

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the review, consolidation and prioritization of Purchase Requisitions, and ensure that they are processed in accordance with the Group Policy and Guidelines.
• Responsible for the preparation and accurate processing of Purchase Orders.
• Monitor the status of Purchase Requisitions and follow through the full life cycle of procurement processing from the receipt of Purchase Requisitions to the issuance of Purchase Orders.
• Maintain up-to-date internal IT procurement management information in databases and files, and prepare regular management reports.
• Attend queries from internal customers and stakeholders with reference to Purchase Orders and guidelines. Provide excellent customer service and ensuring that a professional manner is always maintained with internal customers and stakeholders.
• Handle any other projects and assignments when required.

Skills/Requirement

• Degree or Diploma majoring in Business, Banking or Accounting
• Some relevant work experience in Purchasing and/or Finance area is an added advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS office applications particularly MS Excel
