Job Scope:

The Role

This is a hands-on, high-ownership field engineering role. You will be responsible for getting our solutions deployed, running, and staying running at customer sites worldwide. That means you are comfortable with a screwdriver and a terminal in equal measure.

You will lead and execute physical installations — coordinating structure fabrication with contractors, mounting hardware, cabling networks — and then bring the full software stack live: configuring nodes, standing up containers, validating network routing, onboarding users, and ensuring the system goes live flawlessly. As Cisco’s Senior Talent Acquisition Lead for APJC Sales, you will lead a group of high-performing talent professionals passionate about attracting leading talent across the region. Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading recruiting for Sales and/or Marketing functions in a global, matrixed organisation.
• Demonstrated experience building and executing multi-country recruiting strategies aligned to business priorities.
• Proven experience managing and developing distributed recruiting teams.
• Experience using recruiting metrics and analytics to inform strategy, prioritisation, and operational improvement. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading Talent Acquisition across the APJC region with strong understanding of regional talent markets and cultural nuance.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for IT project delivery and application support for systems in the Campus Life / University Campus Infrastructure / Corporate Administration. This is an exciting area that positively enhances the staff & student experience on campus. Examples of systems include Facility Booking, Hostel, Dining, Facility & Tenancy Management & Door Access systems.

The candidate will be assigned to Projects and Systems according to his/her aptitude and experience. Candidate will also need to work closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives. While the individual will grow in-depth business knowledge in the above-mentioned business domain, he/she may be assigned to deliver IT projects of other areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage the delivery of projects to ensure that project targets are met. Activities include conducting user requirements analysis, participating in solution design, planning, testing, executing and deploying solutions for production use.
• Work closely with various business stakeholders to crystalize and formalize business and system requirements.
• Work closely with various IT stakeholders to adhere with IT policies, standards, best practises and governance.
• Manage procurement activities, prepare tender specifications for publishing, evaluate and recommend potential solutions and/or vendors.
• Liaise closely with vendors to ensure successful delivery of products and/or services in accordance to contract.

Maintenance and Support

• Accountable for the provision of on-going application maintenance and support to ensure SLAs are met.
• Oversee and/or provides maintenance and support of applications, including amongst others, delivery of enhancements and bug fixes, managing service requests, troubleshooting of problems etc.
• Creates, updates and/or reviews systems artefacts and deliverables to ensure quality and NUS guidelines and policies are met.
• Performs systems and data analysis including analysing existing system/program logic difficulties and revising the logic and procedures as necessary.
• Handles audit queries and ensures audit and security compliance are met.
• Liaises closely with business users and build good rapport.
• Work closely with business users in annual IT project planning and enhancement prioritization.

Requirements

• MS/MEng/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems, firmware, middleware, and computer vision applications
• Strong expertise in C/C++, Python for real-time, low-latency applications in computer vision or signal processing
• Deep understanding of middleware frameworks, multi-core processing, inter-process communication, and Embedded Linux development
• Hands-on experience with ARM multi-core architectures, and real-time embedded systems
• Strong expertise in firmware development, low-level device drivers, and kernel-space programming for Embedded Linux
• Experience with radar signal processing, sensor fusion, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, etc.)
• Proven experience managing complex hardware-software integration projects
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
